12/12 from seed ? …

I guess I’ll veg in 3 gallon pots I’ll just do a month from seed then switch to 12/12 since there my last photos I’ll maximize the yield I guess

I think 6 3 gallons under a250 hps is all I’d have room for it wouldn’t cover the 5s as good I can’t fit them as close together I have room but the light Id have to back up to cover that area making it weaker…

If I do 12/12 from seed would it be pointlesss ? I read some people say I might as well do 18/6 first 2 weeks since it won’t start to flower anyways ….I got 6 fem I’m using 2gal fiber pot to get rid of these and I’m switching to straight autoflowers after …they’re about to be here today so if I need to know asap if I should just do 18/6 if I’m still not going to be able to HARVEST sooner ?….

Just to clarify, how long have your 6 fems been growing or are you starting all seeds together? If you haven’t started any seeds then I’d go 18/6 or 20/4 and then when the autos show signs of sex you can switch to 12/12 to flip the photos.

You could do gas lantern from seed (12/5.5 + 1/5.5 - on/off) and probably get better results than straight 12/12 but I have nothing backing that except my guess.

For photos 12/12 from start IMO is really only good practice for clones, and even then that’s if you’re just looking to sex quickly during a hunt. Otherwise you’d 18/6 clones to veg a month plus before flipping.

My autos are going outside I have 3 cookies autoflowers going in 5 gallons outside under my 250 w mh\hps I have the photos which I can’t do outside …I’ll just veg them for a month then

I veg every plant, auto and photo, 24/0 for 3 weeks, then rotate to a bloom area 12/12...blastin....works like a charm...keeps photos small and actually finishes autos faster...imo. The only missed yeild is one not grown.
