Grow Room 16ltr Dehumidifier Placement

I've never used a dehumidifier. So I got a 16l & the readout says the room is RH is 35% & my tent is 53%. I'm guessing this idea is a high grade stupid? But would it be ok if I put it in like this for a few hours a day as needed until I get the money for a larger tent in a week or two?

Theres nothing wrong with 53H though, depending on your temperature.

It's more for night time. It's been really damp here the last few weeks & the RH in the tent has been 63% with lights off.
I'm just wondering is it safe to leave it in a tent that size? I've had it set to 50%RH for the last 20 or so minutes & the temp in the tent is 24.7 degrees

If the room is that much drier then the tent, just turn your exhaust fan up and it'll pull more dry air inside

One thing to remember is that a dehumidifier heats the air to remove humidity blowing out dry but hot air, I wouldnt put it in the tent as the temps will get too high in there.

Adding a small fan t the intake is very effective too.

sometimes its beneficial to have your tent days happen during earth night. electricity is more available/cheaper, cooler temps for lights on, generally drier and more mild for your lights off time if they happen at noon earth time etc.

Theres nothing wrong with 63% humidity during flower if you keep the temp up.
