Ok so here is the deal.. Ive got a 18 day old autoflower thats 3 inches tall.. She is planted in a 3 gallon pot with professional organic black magic soil.. I have her growing under 7 cfls at 6500k all together its 150 watts... The temps have been great as well as humidity but im concerned on size... 3 inches for 18 days? I was hoping to flower her at 21-25 days since I NEED her to be finnished at 60 days.. I dont care if im cutting down the yield by doing so I just need it to be done by then.. How do you think she looks? Healthy? I gave her 1/4 tsp of MG all purpose 4 days ago since her soil had no nutes.. Do you think she will start flowering soon or at least grow vertically? And do you think Ill meet my goal deadline of 60 days since Ive seen many people accomplish it buy 55 days she is a auto malana bomb barneys farm.. Thanks guys :toke:

not to small, should take off soon. May need some extra light , throw it out side :)

with professional organic black magic soil.

Looks more like sand to me.

Don't believe all you read. 60 days strains usually take 80.

1 dont care if im cutting down the yield by doing so I just need it to be done by then.

Photo growers can induce more rapid flowering by cutting down to 10 hours of light. The plant thinks the winter is almost upon it and so puts it's effort into finishing rather than growth. There are also chemicals which promote flower senescence, perhaps banana peel ethylene would work. I have not tried these myself.

She's under 1 inch of sand so it's hard to tell. But I usually water her ever 5 days .. About one cup of water or more

Seriously 10 hours of light a day for a autoflower? Are you high? 12/12 is nearly suicide as it is when it comes to yield but 10 hours haha. And it is 1 inch of sand (gnat problem) I mean c'mon did you really think she could grow in sand? XD possible but not smart. And as for 80 days... That may be some true but were only talking 20 days longer.. But I still aim for 60 and think shell be fine for harvest on that date... I just wanna know if this height is fine for the age.

I have never tried the experiments. I have read that people running 12/6 (18 hour cycle) report it making the plant finish weeks earlier. I know that ethylene causes flowers and fruit to ripen (hence the banana peel). You could do the experiments and report the results to us.

As for the small plant, can't say. Sometimes they start off small and then shoot up in a big burst.

Would doin that 10/6 help her grow vertical at all you think?

my opinion, you're worrying about something too far down the road. focus on how the plant is doing now. make sure it's happy, that the temps are on point, it isn't getting overwatered or underwatered, is getting properly pH'd water with very little or no fertilizer yet, and is getting as much light as it can on the proper schedule. just make sure everything you're doing is making it happier, and everything down the line will come out great.

and honestly, it looks quite happy right now, what kind of light are you using? it seems like it might be putting more effort into growth sideways than vertical growth, which really is ideal for pretty much all plants...

dude, im guessing its normal, my purple cheese is at day 16 and its around the same if u want u can check it out. ;) they say just have patience, water correctly, give it light, and it should do it's thing.
