This guy really took off! He was just barely 5 inches yesterday and now it looks like 6-1/2inches in height. From what I've been told, he should open up between 3 and 5 weeks, so will be watching very closely for him to bust a nut!

The Short Stuff Onyx (Reg) turned out to be a male. Keeping him growing for pollen collection/breeding. Gone this far with the grow log, figured someone might find it interesting or helpful.

He's grown another inch and a half again. Gotta get me a longer stick now! LOL. Looks like he's starting to open up, but I don't see nothing dropping yet. My free pollen vials haven't arrived yet, so will hit the hobby store tomorrow and get some glass test tube and stoppers.
