Hello ladies and gentlemen. I hope everyone is having a "kind" day. I am a newbie and just starting this hobby, so bear with me.

Okay, here is my problem. As a first timer I made the mistake of planting my seeds (4) in a smaller size pot (gallon?) fairly close together (Pics to follow when I can get a chance).

I have 2 Auto Bubble and 2 Auto Critical. They are in soil btw. They are doing fantastic for what I am working with and are getting ready to flower. However, these babies are too big for the pot and are fighting for light a bit.

What I want to know is should I just transplant (to soil) the entire thing or plant by plant. I know I wouldn't have a problem transplanting them together without seperating, however I don't really know how to do it one by one (Or if I should).

Help please and thank you.

Im guessing the roots will be tangled, Id carefully cut the bottom of the pot off and use the tier method.
You could then use LST too spread them out to get more light

Thanks Carbon. I cannot cut the bottom of the pot due to the material. However, I am thinking I will just transplant the entire thing into a large pot and use LST. Will this be ok? BTW the least amount of spacing between them is around 3 or 4 inches, so they are close, but not right on top of each other.

Just use a knife and slice right through any roots to obtain neat plugs that you can transplant. It does far less damage than trying to untangle them because the soil remains attached to the rest of the roots They recover in no time. I start my garden veggies like that every year. Water and let drain a bit before transplant. You want the soil to stick together.

Hey Thud, thanks for the advice. I did what you said and just cut around the pot, no pun intended, and transplanted the entire 4 plants without seperating. The plants were a bit saggy so I tried to straighten them up best I could with the new soil and I watered with fertilizer very extensively. Am I doing this right? Also, pics to follow, just want to check on my security due to where I am.

My girls have straightened back up and I added more 2700k lighting. Whew....I feel better now.
