New Grower 1st Grow Royal Queen Northern Light

As the title says, this is my first grow. Popped some Royal Queen Northern Light Autos in a moist paper towel ten days ago, into soil 48 hours later.

Set up is as follows...

Closet: initially 2' x 4' x 8' but build out another foot to 3' x 4' x 8' and lined with reflective insulation

Lights: 300w (180w) Galaxyhydro LED, 2 x 105w 6500k CFL, 1 x 55w 2700k CFL (gift from a friend so why not)

Soil: Black Gold Organic (0.05 - 0 - 0) with Perlite started in solo cups moving to 3 gallon vessels soon

Planned Nutes: Fox Farm Trio

Well water: PH at almost a perfect 7

Canopy should stay under 9 ftsq I hope (unless I posses some super awesome unknown growing powers, or am just an idiot) putting me at about 48w/ftsq. I might order one more galaxyhydro because that pink glow is just so sexy.

I've been lurking around reading up here while I ordered things to start this new hobby of mine, not really a smoker but I needed a challenge. Due to my remote location it can take 2 - 3 weeks to get some of the supplies and I just have to make use of what's available to me.

So, Here are a few pics of the room build and where the plants currently are. Got my NL in there as well as some DP Frisian Dew(for the green house) on the right. They got a little stressed from transplanting Sunday and I may have over watered them just a bit at the same time, letting em dry out a bit and then will hit them with some more o2 Friday or Saturday. Currently on day 15 for the Northern Lights.


Started with a 2 x 4 closet, built it out to 3 x 4 and added doors and lining.

The Northern Lights are up front.

Good luck and nice setup... I have had great luck with the RQS I ran hopefully you will find them as easy to grow as I did. Great genetics

So we are on day 21 for the NL and 19 for the FD
NL much bushier guy, I think that FD is just crying to get outside, hopefully she wont have to be confined much longer as the temps are slowly increasing in the evenings.

Put a 16 oz. red solo next to them for perspective (didn't want you thinking my plants were a couple dead beat alcoholics).

hi, m8 good luck with your grow. great strain uv picked. got some niravana northern lights right now and there fken amazing m8. so if its ok to follow along to see royal queens vision.of nls with ya would be great. peace.
