1st time grow

Hi Ppl

First post & first grow

Ok, so I'm a uk grower in coco, 1st run was Northen lights Autos, all has gone ok expect a few plants lagged near 2 weeks behind the rest and still look.... odd for want of a better word.

The main buds are compact and full of small leaves, the look nothing like the rest, and still don't look ready to harvest, they were planted mid May... can i have your thoughts. I've attached pics of the mutant plants and a pic of how the rest have turned out.

Those plants look beautiful to me? Sometimes strong lights can keep buds growing (foxtail) and it makes them look weird and the new growth does not ripen with the rest of the older part of the bud. I think that maybe you have some of that going on along with some genetics. Whatever it is I do not think it is a concern.

.. whose genetics mate? And what nutes and supplements were used, dosage/frequency?... Too much N late in the game can cause poor bud:leaf ratio, lack of density, ...looks a little too green, maybe some minor clawing going on which hints at N toxicity,.. that can be a cumulative thing, usually is in fact,...

have you checked the ppm of your runoff? ... ive had similar with some weird autos before, ran 8 of them and 2 of them were strechy and leafy as fook, checked run off and 6 were great, run off was 800-850, the two that looked crap the run off was 1100-1250. i semi flushed and after used just some mag and bloom at 600ppm, next runoff was 820ppm and they started to pack weight on... Might be useless advice but worth a check. You are gonna be alright regardless by the look of it
