Mephisto Genetics 1st Time Grower, Mephisto Sour Crack, Mephisto Fantasmo Express, & Mephisto Crackberry Photo

So I didn't have any medicine to smoke, so I decided to take a little from the fruit early to quickdry and vape.View attachment 508984

So... how was it?
Fantasmo sampled early gave me a 6 hour headache & bad vibes, consistently bad.
But allowed to ripen another week... it is delightful stuff.
I understand why it is used in several Mephisto crosses.

It was very much a sativa type high, seems pretty potent, I'm a daily smoker and one bowl had me high for 2-3 hours. Smelled and tasted great even after only quick drying. I plan on chopping her all the way down on Wednesday or Thursday after a week flush with flawless finish. Right now I'd say it's about 60% red hairs or so, no yellowing of any leaves yet so she isn't cannibalizing herself yet. I really need a pocket microscope. Every time I go to get one though I put the money into something else like adding lights. I'm ordering 2 more 300w led's on the first which will have me at 6 total. Four of these lights is equal to 560 true watts. I might put 5 in there and leave just one in the veg closet since its handling the job nicely. Make it an even 700 true watts of led light in the flowering tent. Have one directly above and the rest at 45 degree angles to increase penetration maybe. We'll see.

My goal right now is to try and have a perpetual harvest every month.

I think that mainlining is going to separate my 2 groups of plants timeline wise enough that there will be a month in between when I flower them. I need to add a 2nd tent. I was planning on doing that this month but I had to spend some money I wasn't planning on this month so the tent is on hold at least until January. Which the way growth is right now, I think that will work out fine.

I think that I should have germinated my seeds a couple weeks earlier then I did. I think for what I observed at least with this plant that 6 week veg from seed is needed at min, 2 1/2 months created this monster I have going now and I'd like to have 3 or 4 plants a 3rd as tall.

Also I'd like to note that this particular Crackberry plant I've grown out foxtails. I did some research into foxtailing and there is healthy genetic foxtailing, and there is foxtailing induced by stress. Comparing some photo's I found online I see that I have healthy foxtailing going on since it is rounded and uniform.

I'm not experienced enough to say for sure. I know at some points I did have heat issues, but that was mainly during the summer/early fall and shouldn't be a factor so I'm assuming this is a desired genetic trait. I've read somewhere on this forum about HBSS having some foxtailing phenos etc. I have changed the light schedule to 11/12, then 10/24 and will keep it there until chop to try and curb the foxtailing since I need to harvest this plant and continue with other projects. Does anyone think this will work or at least help?

I really need a pocket microscope.

I bought several magnifiers to compare and liked this one the best

$3.64 is pretty cheap, but does the job, even has a White & UV LED for illumination.

So, what had happened was...

I noticed some hermie action! I think bc I changed the light schedule, bc that's all that has changed besides flushing, and they would have occurred during that period. I tend to my plants full time bc I'm not working right now so believe me, I caught that shit ASAP. I found about 8 nanners or so.

I didn't take the time to research if I could wait, or pick them off etc. I just said fuck it and chopped that slam pig down. She has been hanging 24 hours as of right now. Here are some pics from last night, and then cleaned up. My humidity in the room they are drying in is roughly 48-50 RH, which I wish I had a humidifier to slow this initial dry time down, but my plan is to place them in a tote bin with a hygrometer once I feel they are a little bit early to take down and place them in the tote with the lid cracked to offset the humidity. Once it is 65% steady with the lid closed I will jar them to cure until Christmas Eve.

Oh and I picked the male flowers I found off and put them in an envelope to dry. Is there a way to save this shit or is it worthless? Like to pollinate another plant?
