New Grower 1st Try on a Pc-Grow

Personally, I'm not a fan of UFOs unless you only growing 1 plant. Since most grow spaces are rectangular and the UFOs are round, I think a rectangular fixture gives better coverage. For a small space I would be more inclined to look at a 180 watt fixture or a 240 if the space is big enough.

after window shopping on the internet..i was thinking the same... if i decided a small cabinet... a rectangle fixture will be a perfect fit instead of 2 UFO's..

yeah sean i have her on just that plant ......ITs better to get the 240w if u can fit it ..........I only needed it for 1 and after she sexes she is going into the bigger tent ......I will put the LIttle Cheese i have in 1/2 gal on her to grow out but just 1 little plant the UFO will should do the trick .....good luck bud

yesterday i was going for rectangle.. and i started sketching ... is this concept possible?..

i thought with two separate compartment with 2 UFO's adjustable for the height, i can use it for two plants.. and monitor their progress individually... or if one time i only got one plant.. i can just put one on...

a bit confused for the dimensions and high to get an ideal size for autoflowers..

this is going to be a white/off white cabinet.. so light should bounce of perfectly.. :booya:

IMO...Before you spend any money on a LED light, look into getting a fan/filter. You can always add a couple more CFL bulbs for more light. I had 4 across the top and two down low. If you dont live alone or if you live with someone who does not approve of what your doing your going to need one. It will cost you around the same price as the LED light. Believe me its going to smell no matter what strain your growing I remember my first grow in the pc case. I did all the cover smell stuff, the DIY carbon filter and so on. Nothing worked like the fan/filter that i have now. Zero smell until i open the cab then the cover smell stuff will come into play Im looking for the fan/filter setup i was going to use on my pc case. Soon as i find it ill post you a link

Thanks for the advice Unholyfire.. :thumbs:, the filters havent cross my mind.. since my grow is still on the early stage .. i havent notice the smell yet..

once you have a recommendation on the fans/filters.. please let me know the link... i prefer buying equipment from a good reference ,... where im at .. i cant hardly get hydro stuff..
the best way is either go online from the states... or ebay

I was looking into a fan/filter that i would be able to mount on the back of the pc case. Something along the lines of this>>

Now im not saying buy from these sites. I know nothing about them. just a google search. Do some research, shop around and read some reviews before ordering from anywhere. That is just the set up a friend used on his pc case. Worked flawlessly. Box of 4in flex ducting some zip ties and a roll of gorilla tape and you would be in business
