Hi Everyone! Here's this weeks update. I'm quite pleased with both plants. The HBSS [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] is 26 days old today. It showed sex at day 20. Flowering is under way. She stands 19 inches tall today. I gave her the heavy feed schedule for the General Organics line up. It consists of, 4 tsp Bio Grow, 2 tsp CaMg, 2 tsp Bio Root, 1 tsp Bio Weed and 4 tsp Bio Marine in one gallon of water.
HBSS [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] is 21 days old today. It is the plant in gbd/Mephisto soil mix. It showed sex on day 19. She stands 13.5 inches tall today. Flowering is under way on this one also. It had a water only feed 2 days ago. All it has had is water only. I may add some CaMg in the next water feed just to be safe. Thanks for stopping by.

Hey Yeatster. No lst planned. I usually let them be. I'll be good as long it stays under about 5 feet tall. I had one about 48 inches in a previous grow.
I don't doubt your skills one bit, sir. I sure hope she stays under 5ft for ya. I'm quite positive one of mine could have reached that, without lst.
Your girls are blowing up I've followed all your journals like your style i usually run pretty close in comparison to yours but my hbss is going wide rather then up I have been foliar feeding with nitrozyme I found on the internet were it says it's a stacker has to mean tight internode space maybe? You don't use it in flower so it can't be for buds it's just a kelp product I'd say strong one could it be this making that big of difference? run my light 15-18 inch's I had mh bulb in but I'm not getting the stretch I need.Do you think veg with hps next time maybe get better stretch?Mine does not have the structure yours does mine is 27 days and still has not sexed I love the comparison grow.

I've had mine under HPS around day 7 on. I've never used an Mh bulb. I used to keep them under T5 lighting for a couple weeks. Mitch from Mephisto told me I could start them on the HPS sooner and I've been doing that for a couple years now. Hang in there though. She'll take off I bet. I think a little late in sexing but I've seen it before. Here's a link to a thread from @MediJane. She had one of the common tall HBSS but she had a short bushy one too that wasn't what we are used to seeing. You may have one like hers.

Check it out. She didn't have it updated too often in the early stages so I'm not sure when it sexed or stretched. On many of mine I've had huge stretches day 30-40. Let me know what you think.

Absolutely, welcome. I'm anxious to see how these turn out.Room for a late comers? This is an interesting comparison. I may do the same but using tabs as iv been really tempted to try them.
