Mephisto Genetics 2 X Hubbabubbasmelloscope/1 with GBD soil mix compared to 1 fed General Organics Nutrients

Wow, top stuff. looks like nutes fed one will yield more though.

Still undecided whether to run gbd soil or biotabs on next run.
Thanks Sensi. Yes the nute fed is going to yield more. I want to give the soil mix another go soon. I've always thought the soil mix plant was different right from the sprout, nothing attributable to the mix, just something seemed off to me. The sprout was very small, which had me worried from the get go. All in all it was fed nothing but water, no other ammendments other than some calmag.

Ah OK, so may just be hbss differences rather than soil. I guess to get a straight comparison it would have to be with clones!

I'm going to do Autopots with either gbd or biotabs, jury still out on which. This really helps though, I'd rep slap but can't yet.. :smoking:

Hi everyone. Well day 71 is the final day for the soil mix plant. It was a deceiving plant because it was tall and lanky. It's wet weight came in at 327 grams or 11.5 ounces. Should dry up around 2.75 ounces. It was better than I thought it was going to be. Here's a couple final photos.

The nute fed plants should be finishing up within a week or so. Thanks for looking.

Well done! That is a nice yield, she might be a great pheno that just grew different. Hard to get good comparison with auto's, because you really can't clone to get identical genes. That nute fed is gonna a be huge yielder. It'll be interesting to smell/taste the differences, let us know which gave you the better experience.

Will do. One thing for sure, the soil mix plant is alot frostier than the other. I've grown many HBSS and all were pretty consistent with each other except for this one.

So do you think nutes played a major role in the frost, or that it was a special pheno that popped up in the gbd soil? Or maybe a little of both. Seems that super soil is no joke.
