Lighting 2 x Think Different DR60 GNMS0006 SCROG

So a really good way to use ona is to keep it in the front room, or the room that guests will be in instead of the grow room. The way ona works is it hits all the scent receptors in your nose at the same time instead of killing the smell particles in the air. So if it's with the grow only a little ona will seep out with the pot smell, but if it's in the room people are in it will have many more times the scent killing power.

I'm stoned, does that make sense?

Ona has saved me on some landlord/repairman cases, I need to get some more to have on hand.

It makes sense, we are all stoned, do not worry about that.:Sharing One:

Maybe that is true for Ona gel. I used Ona Fresh linen and it was not good at all. Yes, it covers smell to some extent, but not too much, I tested it with the most crazy smelling photo plants. I am sure, that they emitted at least 10-100 x more unpleasant odour as auto Think Different does. Ona FL releases something in air, that should be fresh linen, but that is in fact not real fresh linen smell.

At the end "fresh linen" smell was mixed with strong ganja smell and it was really unpleasant. But with that strain carbon filter was also very ineffective, especially when humid.

Agreed! But I thought Ona actually neutralizes odor from the air, doesn't mask it? Maybe I'm wrong. But all I know is this stuff really is worth it's weight in gold! I'm going to try putting a small block in my carbon filter. I've heard that's a really good supplement to one open elsewhere. Worth a shot.

My humidity is very low here. Doesn't ever get above 40%. I know this isn't "optimal" but actually, I don't see any negative effects really. The positive is that I don't get that warm, humid pot smell I've encountered on other peoples grows. Plus I'm only growing two plants at a time. I think you would need a pretty large amount of Ona to mask a bigger grow.

Nope, ona only masks, it in no way interacts with the pot scent particles. The party is only happening in your nose. Think of it as a bunch of scent particles trying to get through the door at once and getting stuck, that's what ona is doing in your nose.

Of course ona won't mask the smell of a grow on it's own, it was never intended for that. Ona is a secondary measure to help cover up overspill or trimming sessions. If used as a primary scent masker it will fail.

quite a ride ! I hope the buds do swell up (as well as stink your house out). Good luck for the last part

I do love a scrog. Nice job.

Depending on the size of your filter, it can only do so much. What I did with that problem was put the Ona Block inside of the carbon filter so that when the air is sent out of the room, it is hitting the ona block on the way out as well as being filtered on the way in.

Thanks for your input blessed that's a good idea. Will definitely go with this on my next run!

ONA are a breakthrough, saved my ASS on my first harvest, esp when drying!

Good idea putting in the filter, going to do that myself!

When I changed to my tent (just yesterday) when I was installing my fan/filter, I noticed there was a slight rip in the ducting near the fan, that can't of been helping my situation. Worth a thorough check imho.

Ona is def a lifesaver!
Good luck man!
KARMA BRO!

Yeh it is a life saver. I would say smell is the only thing that could really give my grow away to unwanted individuals lol so i would do anything to stop or control it. There is definitely no rips or anthing in the ducting although I have noticed my pre filter is pretty dusty? maybe that could be my problem? :peace:

I thought I was all set. Had my fan, my ducting, and my filter. Well not really. My critical cheese blew right through. So I got another filter and put it on the other end of the duct, much better but for my wife's sensitive not good enough. So I built a room, standard stuff, 2x4, sheetrock, insulation... She could still smell it!!! Oh man, so out came the Ona and a small ozone generator, all an improvement but she could still smell it!! Carp!!!! Oh well long story short version. I bought yet another filter! I now have two tents, each with a 6x14" filter and now my room has a 6x30" filter that exhausts into the house keeping negative pressure in the room. FINALLY no detectable odor.
Moral: Just keep trying things, and maybe a bigger filter!!

Wish I had the ability to do something like that bro! you can't put a price on security though bro. Glad you found something that worked for you and the mrs lol:tiphat:

Don't ya just hate it when those damn Koi keep causing problems?

Yeh i also had one in my front room piggy. I did find after a week though the one in my grow room had shriveled and dried up where as the one downstairs is still going. Think that maybe the dehumidifiers fault though.

Got to agree with you there bro it really is good stuff will have a read of the tub and see if it neutralizes or masks it :peace:

Thanks Tony. Look foward to trying more of dutch passion has to offer. These TD's are definitely the most trich covered plants I've seen so far. :Sharing One:

I do love a scrog. Nice job.

Thanks for your kind works roark :smoke:

Harvested one Think different last night and one this morning :) at day 71. Had a weeks cleanse and the trichs were around 10% amber 70% milky and 20% clear. She gave off a really pungent smell when chopping, swear I felt a little high lol. Haven't done a wet weight as I've kept alot of the stems on to hang dry so will post a dry weight later on next week :Sharing One: Also a pic of my new tent which as you can see comes out as far as my dr60 but is twice as long. Currently have three super cali haze in there which I will be putting outside in a few weeks and have started my next indoor grow which is three diesel ryder's so will start a journal for them shortly. Thanks again for all the kind words and good advice from all those who dropped by :peace:
