Grow Mediums 2000 Watt Perpetual Hydroponic AutoFlower ScrOG

Friend you got exactly same shit as I from the start of the grow (except of broken arm). PH making me crazy and I hadn't this issue with my first run (same nuts same buckets same.....). I hope you would find a solution and everything will go fine. Try to fix ph slowly otherwise you will heart them more than they are now. (after ph swing +0.3 -0.3 I got some lockout...)

Yeah, PH problems are A B1TC#!
I'm running 5.7 now (FOR SURE) hopefully that will slowly fix the problem.

Tavi,

Is there any possibility that there is something organic in your res/roots/pots, other than the hydroton. I have heard many talk about the pH probs, but I have not experienced them, it may be the plants asking for more food, or something else in there messing things up. Hydroton is supposed to be pH neutral. I am still learning like you, so I am trying to think this one out with you.

Sooooooo.

This new meter I got is always stored in 4.0 solution. I occasionally check that it goes back to 4, and it does. I've been having problems, and pulling my hair out because I could not for the life of me figure the shit out. Anyways the meter only went to 4.1 so I figured I'd calibrate the meter. I measured my solution before because I figured it would change. It was 5.7
Anyways, I calibrated the meter, re-checked the PH and it was 5.2. Recalibrated it, and 5.2 again. Apparently my meter was reading fine on the low end, but was off higher up.

Let's hope for some healing. This grow has been a rough one from day one.
Send me some Karma Fam!
im no expert but i had a problem wit a meter i had sum solution got into the probe sum how and i never noticed and the meter would read right sum time im guessing when sum of the solution evap or worked its way out but just check see no solution is not in places its not suppose to be
btw ur grow looks awsome i hope i can try hydro at sum point seems complicated but easier at same time once u get stuff set and dialed in

The only thing that is organic I believe is the Floralicious + (20% Kelp). I keep it simple with nutes. A/B and CalMag. I added the last of the Floralicous + figuring it may help, but I saw no difference at all. I'm using river rock for media (same as the new "hydro Rocks") same as last grow. It's heavy though, so I used hydroton to top up the pots and block out light. I don't let the hydroton come into contact with my solution at all because of past PH issues. I've got the PH holding steady now at 5.7 rising to 5.9 in 24 hours with a pretty steady EC of 0.65. Some of the plants are showing they want less feed, and some want more. Quite the balancing act with 14 plants grown from seed. The plants have perked up overnight after I got the PH figured out so that's great, but it'll take a few days to see how well everything clears up.
They're still growing, so that's good.

UUPDATE
Day 30

Hey All. Sorry for the lack of updates. Broke my hand and it just kind of took everything out of me.

I got the screen down on one side, and all plants are adjusting nicely. Going to get the screen down on the others in the next day or two.
Plants are doing alright. They were SUPER nute sensitive for a long time. I was running a .5 EC for the last week and just couldn't push past it without the plants looking sickly.
Something REALLY crazy happened tonight. I'm sick of running such a low EC at 30 days so I bumped up to .8.
After one flood cycle I opened the tent, and was overpowered with a fresh cut grass smell. No weed smell, just straight "Green" smell. I can't describe how potent it was.
Not sure if this is a good, or bad thing. VERY WEIRD.

Anyone ever have this happen, or know why it happens?

Here's some pics of where I'm at now.

Dang dude!! Super nice setup bro! Just curious, what are you able to keep your reservoir temps at?
