Buddy.
The 2352 grams was dry. Did you check the log?
Did you see the full tent of colas?
Did that look like 500 grams of weed to you?
Your .5 GPkwh isn't close to "3 times the weight" of me.
I pulled OVER 1.07 GPW DRY packaged, and gone.
Why would I give weigh of wet weed?
That wasn't counting some scraggily shit either.

The entire grow had it's own power meter, and cost me about 550,oo.
So, $550.oo for 5.25 DRY pound of weed. $0.23 per gram, or $6.33 per ounce produced.
I'd say that's a good price no matter how you slice your GPW/kwh equation.
And yes, my bills are paid for quite some time.

I'd love to see some of your GPW auto's.

I generally put up harvest videos of the dry bud, and dry weight so there's no splitting hairs.
I didn't this round, but there's always next round, and I'm sure I'll have no problem producing the same results
for anyone who may think my numbers suspect.

Honestly, there wasn't too much emotion writing that, lol.
Just trying to get the facts out.
I see what he's getting at, and he's right. If you're running regular plants with only say 1000 watts, but you veg for 3 months and flower for 2 GPW don't mean anything and is a bad indicator of efficiency. It's all about Grams Per kwh at that point. Running auto's with a life of 3 months takes that out of the equation to high degree. For a 90 day grow GPW says plenty. Gram Per Kwh is a more accurate measure of efficiency all around though.
But really... Did that looks like 500 grams hanging in that tent? Really? And that was still only around 1/2 of the total.
Anyone who followed the log would know that I'd been pulling plants out of there for weeks before I even filled that tent with the final harvest.

I'm trying to showcase Think Different as viable commercial/cash cropping strain which it most definitely is.
I understand it all comes down to price. If you follow the log, and pay attention to the pictures I just don't see how anyone could think there was only 500 grams total dry weight.
I mean...really....What?

With the correct figures He's still got me beat by $0.03 per gram, but I guess life goes on.

There is some AutoExtreme ScrOG Action coming up soon.
I'll also be doing some more TD (I know, it's getting old, lol.)
I'll be running 4-400 watt Hortilux bulbs instead of the cheap Ebay 600's I have been running.
Actually got a LOT more weight from under the 400 Horti than the other cheap Ebay bulbs. It was seriously noticeable.
I was going to leave it for someone else, but I think I can get pretty close to what I got this round and use 800 less watts.
If I can cut 800 watts off the power bill I need to try it.
That should push the GPW numbers up to a very respectable range.

Tav bro I don't think it matters what you grow I just know whatever it is you are going to get the most out of it I have followed your grows now for awhile and you know your SHIT!!!
If ever I do grow in hydro you will be the first person I run to for answers. With the grows you have under your belt it will be scary to see what numbers you pull down next all I can say to all da haters sit down and strap on your fucking seat belt cause Tav is about to blow this Motherfucking out the park!!:beast:

You sure your weight machine was made for grams and not for kilograms? How can it be :boob:. I was sure y'v got 2kg dry! You sure you didn't made any booboos? (over-dry,wrong weight machine...). The buds didn't look flufy at all (the reason I'v got only 80g from one of my plants).

Still it was a great harvest and supper show :thumbs:. Next time better and better and better

Maybe the time has come to make an upgrade and use LED? You wil cut a lot of electricy costs and there is enough other reasons as well
