Outdoor 2013 automazar grow

Thanks Mr Piggy ill look into the soil but i wont be able to any time soon cause we just got our first snowfall.. a foot of snow overnight
tbh i think im still gunna dump some promix in a hole because i like the idea of using soil (or a soiless mix) that has been tested and recommended for growing cannabis and the area im looking at i really dont know if the soil is any good and i would rather pay a few extra bucks for good medium than try and mess around with adding nutes and balancing soil because ive never done any gardening or grown anything before.

How would I balance the Ph of the Promix? The Squid mentioned it is pretty much good to go out of the bag when talking about Ph.

And tbh i dont really want to set it and forget it because this is my first grow and i really want to watch the progress of my plants and feed/water them myself!

To get it spot on like Piggy is referring to I believe he uses organic ferts and things to pinpoint where he wants it. It takes some time and testing, but that's what Piggy does. To do it without nutes, you could use garden lime to raise it, dolomite lime. And garden sulfur to lower it. Mix a little in and water, wait 5 days and test. When your ph is spot on you're good to go.

I don't find this necessary with Promix though. I believe Muddy amends his with just a little worm castings and that is it....But I'm sure he still starts them in plain out of the bag Promix. He'll correct me if he sees this and I am off.

Would you not ph your water to something specific?

Nope. I just stick em in the ground and let the earth work it out. Seems like a design that's been working for plants for a little while ;)

If everything is already buffered with humic matter and lime/oyster shell then it shouldn't be an issue.

Good luck with this im sure youl do fine, i agree with mixing the soils, unless youv tested it out already, why not do a paralel test this year and stick one in the ground and see what you get..
I grew auto mazar last season, they all eaten by ants but 2 pulled through, really bad season also not much sunshine. The smoke is really good and has pain relief too, its one of the best tasting autos ive tried like a creamy indica .
I grew mine at lat 52 and im growing them again this year, check out my grows from last 2 seasons via my profile, sorry cant paste links at this time.

I'm growing three indoors at the moment. Sadly two turned out to be hermies. Had to relocate them :[ The one female is doing well though! branching out very well, and only 26 days old!

So I've ordered my seeds and some other things to start me off. I have ordered 10 Auto Mazar seeds from The Attitude seedbank that should arrive sometime this week. I ordered my nutrients from canadianwholesalehydroponics.com they are the General Organics Starter Kit box. Also ordered 10 3-gal grow bags (more like garbage bags with drainage holes) and a couple 5-gal buckets to be my water reserve (so I can leave it out to remove chlorine and make it the right temp). I plan on getting my soilless mix (Pro-mix all-purpose outdoor planting mix) and other tools from a local gardening center.

Planning to prepare my site next weekend. Probably going to plant seeds May 3-5.

Yeah bro get those holes dug or whatever before the insects get gnarly !
And another tip is when you go get your soil try not to get the bags that have been sitting in the rain all winter they will weigh twice as much, lugging more weight than is neccassery is a right bitch !
Good luck
