Mephisto Genetics 2017 Mephisto Strainguide - Version 1 - Contributions wanted for V2 - look in!

Being a total noob at this - I went for cheaper seeds to get my green thumb going however

Really nice, one day when I'm big and can afford to buy some quality seeds, Mephisto will be a go to breeder, that Walter White & White n Bubbly really tickles my fancy!

Grow Type – wilma system (recirculated hydro system grown in clay pebbles)

Lighting– 600w dual spectrum hps

Plants in Space – 4

Container size – 11 litre pots

Medium – clay pebbles

Nutes – general hydroponics flora series (grow,bloom,micro) calmag and silicon

Final Plant size –40-48 inches

Days from seed to harvest – 80

Yield – between 5 and 6 oz per plant

GPW – roughly 1gpw

Ratings

Ease of grow 7/10

Aroma during grow 9/10

Ease of trim 8/10

Bag Appeal 8/10

Cured Aroma 9/10

Potency 8/10

Growers thoughts.
I grow nearly all plants in this system with roughly the same schedule- i do find hbss a little fussy with nutrients but the growth is amazing. The buds were huge and solid- the branches struggled to hold them up.
Smells are very nice in flower and after buds are cured. And a nice heavy stone from this strain

Growers thoughts.

Very typical sativa traits. Tall christmas tree type structure. 1 big main cola surrounded by multiple sub colas, very little popcorn if any. The highlight for me was the amazing taste and smell. The only way to describe it was as sweet oranges. Very lightly coloured nuggs due to the heavy trichome coverage.

One good seed is better than 10 bad seeds. I won't grow anything but these strains unless it's a tester. 7-10 weeks of time, light, nutrients. The seed is the cheapest part and one of the most important.

@BigSm0 totally agree with you, Well I did buy from a good breeder I think (wont advertise here) from GYO seedbank from one of their Monster deals so from $5 per seed it came down to $2.5

I will however definitely purchase from Mephisto before this year is up I just want to get my first grow out the way
