Every light cycle i see is always 18/6 20/4 or 24/0, all even ratio's, what about using a 21/3 method, little bit more of a boost of light then the conventional 20/4 cycle, but also giving the girls some dark period too ??
Hey Danjea, I'm not so sure that giving that extra hour of light per day, would give that much more of a boost to offset the savings in electricity. That one hour per day for the life of the plant would start to add up.
I also believe that plants should have at least 4 hours of down time, as a lot happening to the plants in the dark.
Extra hour could translate to extra yield. Only way to know is do a comparison. I do know with photos in veg need no dark period. They just grow faster. No timer needed.
