Can I ask what wattage they are output an input? Which Mars are they buddy? Do you get the holy grail 1 GPW?
I am really wanting to go for the change to led but the cost must outweigh the electric bill!

Ive got about 600watts output myself, think its about 240 or 250 actual, as for 1 GPW, ive never really grown for that purpose to be honest, my grows are all the other place, loads of plants at different stages. I might finish what im doing and have a go at it, just never grown that way as yet. I rekon I could get close to it if I really put mind into gear!
I guess some people are getting 1.5 g/watt using self made LED's with efficient drivers and cobs...
I would like some of that, i have read ,, read again then read again and still cannot fathom which LED is good value...
as for now my 27 i hope can get my head back above water
Ive been doing some reading and I think my next LED is going to be home built, doesnt look as hard as one would think, there are some very helpful videos on youtube....
I think you will do a fine job! And I have to agree on the choosing of a LED. Very difficult! Take into consideration your grow style. Coming from HPS like I did, in finding they key is matching your grow style and light. In an idiot and bought an LED focused on penatration and not foot print. Well growing autos my biggest plant in its final stages hasn't ever been more than 2 feet. They are getting bigger though but anyway back on track I don't need this style LED. I like to cover more space with a nice SOG and LST everything into an even canopy so I need a light with a little more coverage than penatration, less focused light I should say. I'll give an example. ...the Mars reflector series vs the mars series II. 1 is for spread and one penatration. But yeah its 2 completely different world's but try to find one that helps compliment your grow. Don't rebuild you're grow around your LED....really early wake and bake had me rambling, sorry friend!
so are you unhappy with the mars led pete? what you are saying is it not enough spread,,,,
