New Grower 2nd Grow. RQS White Widow and Royal Haze. GrowNorthern LED

Sup WG.
Mazar has bin treating me good. I have updated the old thread and will snap some pics off the dry bud tomorrow.

Day32
The royal haze has some thing going on with the leafs and the WW has the purpling on the stems =/ Any ideas what this could be?
I have bin making sure that my ph is 6.5. I made a mixture up tonight of 4.5liters of water with 3ml of bio-grow and 4ml of magne-cal+ and ph'd to 6.5. Each plant received 2.25liters.

Use epsom salts next watering instead of CalMag.. it looks like you need magnesium, but not the nitrogen that's coming with it. I'd continue to feed the normal strength bio-grow but swap magne-cal+ for epsom salts and see if there's a difference. :2cents:

If plants don't respond well to Cal-Max (same as magne-cak+, magnesium and calcium nitrate and iron edta) I switch to epsom salts which is magnesium and sulfur.. or alternate.

Give it a whirl..

What was your last feeding? When was it?

Hey Goodie
Today(last night for me. its 3:51am here and was around 2am when i last posted) was when i last watered
''I made a mixture up tonight of 4.5liters of water with 3ml of bio-grow and 4ml of magne-cal+ and ph'd to 6.5. Each plant received 2.25liters.''
How much epsom should i use per liter of water?

Hey Lads n Ladies
Just have a quick question regarding how much epsoms should be used per liter?
and the 2nd question is. How many days into the grow do people generally switch to flowering nutes?

Day35.
This is how my plants look now after the last feed that consisted of 4.5liters of water with 3ml of bio-grow and 4ml of magne-cal+.
Today is feeding day and i was just wondering if i should still go ahead and use the epsoms with the biogrow and cut out the magne-cal+? Also if any1 could answer my question to my last reply, that would be greatly appreciated. thank you

I use about a teaspoon per litre mate! :smokebuds:

Cheers for the reply Krug.

DAY39.

WW is looking great but I'm kinda disappointed with the progress off the RoyalHaze.

When should i make the switch to flowering nutes and what day do people generally make the switch and what should i use epsoms again or magne-cal+?

Edit- I've just made a mix up of 5liters water, 3ml bio-grow, 2ml bio-bloom and 4ml magne-cal+. Lets see what happens

I use one half to one teapsoon of Epsom per liter

Usually between 5-7 weeks, so anywhere between 35 and 49 days. If you still have some vertical growth going on, I'd wait.

You see the Epsom stopped the yellowing in it's tracks? and the purple stems slowed down as well, right? I'd continue to alternate and maybe do one water in between with plain water.. i.e: magne-cal+, plain water, epsom... I say this to prevent salt build up in the media.. :2cents: Whether or not to stop using Magne-Cal+ in general is up to you, I still use Cal-Max+ at least until I'm in full bloom nutrient schedule, then I go straight Epsom Salts.

Cheers for the reply Krug.

I'd change to Bloom nutes when you're sure vertical growth has stopped or when the plant is as tall as you want it to be. Once you start bloom nutes vertical growth will stop.. I'd go straight epsom after switching to bloom nutes, and use epsom every other watering. If the yellowing shows up at all, epsom every watering.. :2cents:

Hope you're well bro!

i think people generally switch to flowering nutes when the vertical growth stops, if they have stopped getting any taller i would switch to my flowering nutes and phase out the grow nutes, i would keep with the epsom salts

EDIT: WG beat me to it lol solid advice there bro

Hey WG
Not bin too Shabby cheers. Hope all is well your end?
I did see a hault to the yellowing and the purple stems. I will give it another feed after this one with just the epsoms and bloom and then go for the plain water feed.
Thank you for the advice Bro's. It is greatly needed and I highly appreciate it. The vertical growth has stopped so do you's think it will be ok to use the mix i have made up? Only reason i ask is because i had the water bubbling for 24hours and it has already bin mixed and the pots are dry so havent really got the time to bubbling some fresh water another 24 hours.
Again i can not stress how much i appreciated the help and replies.
Thank you
