I think this would work for bucket dwc.
Just seal the seam in the middle with silicon.
Turn it on its back and put a small pump in it to recirculate your chilled solution.

It does work bro I did a dwc grow last summer in a greenhouse with one wich held 30 litres the strain was mk ultra and they turned out sweet. its hard if you use it for one bucket the Ph goes crazy but it worked wonderful in two buckets also at first I thought it wasn't working cause the rez temp didn't drop my much until I covered all the tubeing. The air lines I put inside an old bit ov hose pipe and that worked. The rez never once went above 22 even in mid july.

Nice, Im using a 8 bucket RDWC system so I think I will need a lager capacity chiller. I was going to buy a Doom(mini) Fridge to see if I can get the temps down to 54* - 60*. has any one used a mini fridge?
