Hey everybody I just wanted to let you guys in on a deal I found for a 300w (139 actual watt) led light.

I wanted to start a grow but my funds are super tight right now, so my first thought on lighting was to make a cfl fixture. I decided to do some research first though and I'm glad I did!

I came across a new light company on amazon named "Meizhi" and I notic3d they had very few reviews on a 300w model. I got the bright Idea to send the seller a message to see if maybe he could give me a discount in exchange for a review. Long shot I know but hell but I got nothing to lose.

He sent me a message back and told me he would give me HALF OFF. The light is only $88 to begin with. Now I thought "wow" this seller is great! (Which so far they are) but it turns out there's a way for everyone to get them half off.

There is a website called amazon review trader that let's you sign up and search for items at a huge discount in exchange for reviews. Maybe I'm late to the party I have never heard of this before.

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up if you're needing a cheap led or if you really can't afford much right now, this is a great deal. If anyone has any questions exactly how to do it just respond here and I'll do my best to explain.

I hope this helps someone like it has me. if hadn't found this I would be growing with just a few cfls. Hell it's hard for me to swing the $44 but I figured that's the best deal I'll ever find on a 300w led.

Also if anyone has any experience with this brand let me know.

I just need something to get me going. I figured this would be better than building a cfl fixture. There are some other models, a 1200w 1500w and a 2000w all for under $200. I can't afford any of them right now but it seemed like a good deal.

This will be fine but again I would stick with one plant at a time with it..

Thanks for the advice. I'll stick to one plant until I can get better lighting.

So I ended up getting a $20 gift card for Amazon from an app called ibotta. it's an app that gives you rebates when you buy groceries, for example, if I buy a box of cereal I got .50 added to my account and once you get $20 you can choose a gift card.

I used the $20 gift card and the code I got from the amazon seller and I ended up paying $24 for the 300w led.

Sorry for rambling but I was super excited about how everything came together lol.:cooldance:

Very cool bud hope it works great for you

Thanks
I feel like things are falling into place, almost like this grow was meant to happen :cools:
If you wanted a second I bet you could create a second account and buy another light the same way

That's not a bad idea. I already tried to use the code again to no avail.

I would think that they probably wouldn't let brand new account's become a reviewer or else everyone would be doing it... either way I don't wanna get any bad karma lol
