hi guys
i have 4 autos in 20l airpots in a 1.2x1.2x2m tent, they sprouted around 8 days ago and seem to be doing ok. humidity is around 35% and raises to about 45% after i mist them once per day and mist the walls of the tent to keep humidity up.

is 35% humidity ok for seedlings? i know humidity will rise once they start vegging properly and theres
more plant. will 35% have a noticable negative effect??

thanks for any help AFers :smoking:

You can put some bowl or something with water inside your tent and adjust fan to blowing on it and on plant(air will come to plant with some humidity) but not strong or hang some damp rag.And may be spray them with water a little before lights go off. If temps in tent is not very high this humidity (35-45%)may not cause serious problems (I think) , but if humidity is very low and temperature is to high that can dry your plant quick and easy.

thanks mate. temps are around 24-26c (75-79f) so not too hot

Ah yes it may help too :) if you sometimes will off your exhaust fan that will rise humidity during its off ;) , but with temperature control , don’t leave for long time .
But some humidifier about 40$ can resolve that problem easy ;)
Good luck!

...yup, too low,... seedlings like at least 50% to help not stress them with transpiration issues,... low RH% sucks the water right out of them, and works the roots hard,...
