I was thinking the same thing. Honestly the plant seemed to love being under the CFL, its so cool i could litterally have it 2-3cm from the plant, which great for exposing light in the lower parts of the plant and creating new tops. Before chopping I counted a total of 22 tops, each one about as large as the next. The only stress I noticed on the plant in switching it from CFL to HPS was that due to the increased heat, it dried the leaves slightly over time. Towards the end of the grow most of the leaves were just crisps, but I guess thats the advantage to only have a 3 month grow.
And yeah, i've gotta agree ikea does rock! gotta recomend their shelving units for grow cabs! :booya:
