Some GORGEOUS love bushes you have there, vg! :clap::clap:

As far as the light spectrums go, you will find successful grows from folks who have used one spectrum or the other from start to finish. The majority of successful grows have a blend of blue and red spectrums in flowering, or lean more heavily towards red spectrums in flowering. :2cents:

Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see the growth explosion over the next few weeks! :dance:

Thanks everybody, after my last screw-up I almost lost the faith but AFN pulled me through. I have had the led on from the beginning and that is the light I have been moving. The left rear plant is doing the grow tall thing and is almost 3in taller than the shortest (right rear). I will try raising the led to keep 16in above the right front plant. I don't think I will be able to tame the tall girl, so she can have her way. This is the part of the grow I like the best, every day brings a smile to my face, warmth to my heart, and the wife will welcome more lead in my pencil after harvest.

I have moved the plants around except for the akr (center) but I don't think it will make a differance. The four shots have all been treated the same and all have grown differently. I guess thats' just the way it is, maybe if I ever get another led this won't happen. The girls are getting crowded so I will start to try and bring the branches in some. I didn't realize the shots would branch out so much, next time I will plant only four.

Looking great! Once vertical growth stops and you switch to veg nutes you can lower your light to 10-12". Just make sure not to lower it so much that you loose light coverage to the outer edges of the grow area.

Great news, the wife said our budget looks good since I started getting overtime and I can order another light. I have the agromax ufo 7 band 135w led so I guess I will just order another like it.

Killin it, vg!! :booya::booya:

Congrats on the budget news :thumbs: Have you looked into the Blackstar 180W LED's? They're only about $30 more than the Agromax UFO, and you'll get a much more even distribution of light over your ladies. :2cents:

The only reason I was going to get the ufo is because that's what I have. Can I use both or should I replace the ufo with the blackstar?

Remind me again how big your tent is? I just went back through the thread and couldn't find it, but very possible that I missed it.

View attachment 151775View attachment 151774View attachment 151773My tent is 5ft tall 3ft wide and 2.5ft deep. The 180w blackstar panel will fit but not both leds. I checked out the blackstar web site and there were some bad reviews, mostly loud fans. I don't believe that so many AFN growers would use and recomend blackstar unless they were good lights, besides loud fans are not a problem for me. The agromax ufo also had some bad reviews but the only issue I have had is the plug receptical had to be repaired. While I had the light apart I thought the inside looked cheap but so far no diodes have gone bad. Most of the stuff that came with the kit, fans t5 fixtures, were cheap and I planned to upgrade anyway. Since every grow so far has had at lease one plant that responded differently under the same conditions maybe a single light is the way to go. What about a 240w blackstar? Would that be too much? I moved the plants again, the plant now in the center was less green and a little wimpy. I am going to fert again and was going to increase from 5ml grow big to 10ml, but thought that might be too much too soon. How about 5ml grow big (6-4-4) and 5ml tiger bloom (2-8-4)?

KindredSpirit, is that quote at the bottom from Lord of the Rings?
