Hi all
First post here. Seems like an awesome community!

Problem: Drooping (apart from plant closest to cam on right)

Medium/grow method: Plant magic organic supreme

Feed: and supplements used: PM oldtimers 0.5ml/l grow and bloom

water source: tap water left out for 24hrs and ph tested at 6.5

Strain/age: 3x crital jack auto, 1x dark purple (top left) auto 4 weeks

light used: 315w lec phillips agro + 2x 35w 6400k cfl

Climate: 27c 40RH

Additional info: only second time given nutes, first 3 weeks without

This is my first grow.

My question is, the two plants on the left, especially the jack closest to camera seems very droopy. The leaves feel thin and unhappy. I've just started them on some very diluted nutes (PM grow and bloom 0.5ml/L).

The last watering was yesterday, and before that it was 3 days prior. about 1.5 lters per plant.

Any ideas why she seems unhappy? Over water, Under water? Nutes?

Thanks!

When is picture taken
Half hour before lights off
Half hour after lights on?

If before lights out look all looks fine. Just getting ready to sleep.
If within an hour or two of lights on then we can look s little deeper

Might need a little humidity increase, or they could be gearing up for preflower stretch.

If the pots are on the floor what is the floor temp? As the roots get bigger they could be getting colder if it’s s basement grow on the floor. Raise the pots or out insulation under. Root zone temp needs to be warm.

The second picture of the specifc drooping was taken 1.5 hours before lights off, but it was still drooping earlier then this also. I will take another pic in 3 hours, this will be within an hour or so of lights on.

Interesting point regarding the floor temp. Currently at lights off it is 21c. I'll find some insulation material to put them on.

Could the light be too close/too far away? The 315 phillips agro CDM is 80cm from highest leaves.

Thanks for help me out!

They seem to have picked up! You were right about the sleep. I was very worried.

Thanks for your help :)

I noticed the exact same thing on the first grow also. Got me a little stressed, so I put a little Wyse WIFI camera on them and did a time lapse at 3 minute intervals of a complete day cycle. Sure enough drooping started about 1.5 hours before lights off and the leaves came right back up about an hour before lights on.

Soooo, what form of weird intelligence is in there that tells them night time/day time is coming?

Also noticed that this drooping diminishes once they are a week or 2 along in flower.

Not familiar with the light

Always make small adjustments and you never make big mistakes. Take it slow and don’t rush to fix anything immediately. Get a few opinions and always just enjoy the show.
Definitely still check the root zone temp.
Looking good in there

315 phillips agro CDM

315w, in a 1.2m or 1.5m width tent, will not generate sufficient culture temperature for an essentially tropical plant, that likes 28c and RH@30-45%.............. 4 plants need a 600w Duel Spectrum, rather than half that at half spectrum (CDM).................... full spectrum from hatch is best.............. as outside !!.......... 26c tent means root temp will be in the correct band to maintain root matrix Ph, that affects "Nute" assimilations as PH to nute uptake ranges below:......................

you mention a Ph meter above, so you can control & maintain feeds Ph................ do you have an "Ec" meter to control nutrient salts in your feeds ??.................. between 100mm seedling @Ec0.3 to fianal flower @Ec1.10@Ph7.1@24c feeds....................... aerate your 'Tap" water ??............... tap water is full of "Chlorine" which roots hate..................it sterilizes them, aeration for 48hrs blows off chlorine "Gas".......... and replaces it with co2 and o2................. but importantly "raises" water temperature.......... if you standing water bucket is black and lidded, standing it in your cab corner (25ltrs).......... the cab temp will heat it for free........... one in each fron corner.....(What is Blue Thing inleft corner now ?).................. use Ph down "Nitric Acid" in veg, Phosphorus Ph down in flower........ Diurnal bio programming, proving plants like a reliable diurnal photon and thermal regime......... any time lapse canna post on youtube shows the lift and drop every cycle.......... it is related to the respiration of the thylakoid stacks in the chlorophyll, chloroplasts cells........ the sugar generators ATP.................. :headbang: -- mate, can you expand on this for us please? I often get the same phenomena, in tent and outside; some plants do, others don't,... the "sunset droops" seems more of a posture change in the petioles (vs. sagging, bowing), can you explain more exactly what's behind this? I speculated it might be a water/moisture shedding thing?
