Hey everyone, this is my first time growing dwc and i got 6 blackjack clones off a mate 6weeks ago. It took me two weeks to get the first roots through the rockwool which wasnt too bad. I topped 5 and and left my biggest clone alone. On one of the plants im trying a different calimagic addititive called go green to see if there is a difference between the two.

Nutrients-im using general hydroponics 3part series with calimagic and ryzofuel(similar to rhizotonic). Currently adding 25ml grow 25ml micro 25ml bloom, 15ml calimagic and 5ml ryzofuel in each bucket. 20l buckets. Two 300w led grow lights same as auto_mate on here. Hailea air pump 100l a min /6.

Ive had some issues with ph's, calmag and just general nutrient stuff ups at the start so i decided to go to a 111 ratio with nutes and add a bit extra calimagic and has been going better since then but i recon i could still be going alot better!

Any tips and pointers would be greatly appreciated

If your girls aren't in flowering stage yet I would hold back on the bloom nutes.Other than that every thing looks good.

Took some more pics so you could get a better look.

Hi mada_man!

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing this experience with us here in the Sweet Seeds subforum!

They're looking great in my opinion. Very good structure which is a sign of vigorous growth. Also the fact that they gained roots in only 2 weeks means it is a vigorous genetic and that it is being well taken care of.

Only thing I'm afraid is that they may be getting more nuts than they actually need. Dark green leaves in one or two plants are a sign of this. I'd reduce feeding a bit and then I would wait until the lower leaves start to look a bit pale until I raise the nut dosage again. But that's just a matter of opinion as I do like to have my plants closer to deficiency than to overfert.

Other than that I have no further suggestions but I would also like to suggest that you pass them to 12/12 as soon as possible (if you haven't yet) because they will stretch a good bit in the first 3 weeks of 12/12 and I'm not sure if you want to deal with big plants.

I'm personally more of a soil grower so I also don't want to risk and share other opinions. Probably you guys are more experienced with hydro and dwc grows so lets also wait to know the opinion of other growers who are experienced in this method of growing.

Keep up the good work. All the best and sweet smokes!

Hello all, plants have been going very well and I'm gonna switch them to 12/12 in a week. Hopefully they stretch up big. I've just started adding gt silicon to them and noticed they are growing much better with that and drinking much more too.
