Mephisto Genetics 6 Sour Cracks... Biotabs 1 vs 2 per pot.

Here are 2 Sour Cracks, Day 11 from seed and Day 1 of AutoPots/Airdomes. These are doing WAY better than the past Sour Cracks, but they were planted directly into final pot. Also, I crushed a Biotab and layered it into the Coco to speed up the process. I think it is working well? I swear I could almost watch those plants grow the past few days... Almost double leaf size in 2 days. I think these are about to grow super fast, The Airdomes should help.

And 3 days later! The middle one is clearly a larger pheno. It is bigger than all the other sour Cracks and isn't flowering yet. The one closest is doing well too. Furthest one showing preflowers and a little yellow near the bottom over the past 2 days, not sure why. Trying to get dialed in with Biotabs.

4 days later. They are growing so fast that I keep having to move my lights up! The middle one looks a little lighter in color. I have been giving the closest one Calmag water by hand. Within a couple days it has outgrown the other and looks better color wise. So I have been doing the same thing with 2 other plants and they look great too. So I think Biotabs with Coco and cob lights you should probably use Calmag in your water, even tho it says you don't need to. I am experimenting with the Biotabs, so far I am getting the seedlings off to a better start each time. I have many hooked up to the AutoPots being fed RO water only, as directed. But having cobs I know a Calmag def is almost always an issue, unless treated. So I have been hand watering the bottom of the AutoPots of 3 plants with Calmag water. All 3 are a better shade of green and def is not progressing. I am sure I will be adding Calmag to my reservoir in the future...I have a bunch of Sour Cracks that need to come out in 10 days or so. By then I will know how well the Calmag water is working, and most likely will be used on every plant moving forward via the AutoPots reservoir.

That is some impressive growth, tabs doing good so far

Thanks, the Biotabs work differently in Coco vs soil, so I am experimenting to see what works best. I am about 99.9% sure I will need to use Calmag for optimal results with my lights. The few days I have been using it has shown to make a difference on the plants being fed Calmag water. I don't mind if that's all it takes.

That's what I hear others are doing as well, and it's to be expected. Hard to cover each and every finicky strain/pheno with one general purpose tab, just like when the same ingredients are put in a flask.....
Like you say if all it takes is adding some micro nutrients, permanently or every now and then, and no pH /EC to consider........Bob's ya uncle, or close enough.... Lol
