Mephisto Genetics 6 Sour Cracks in 1/2 pots of Coco, fed by drip stakes. Under 110 Watts of Cobs

Yes I have. I used 2gal pots, and used Biotabs with them. Personally 2gal of Coco is a waste when growing Sour Crack. It finishes fast and doesn't get huge anyhow. But that's using Coco. I know @mephisto uses Soil and they cram a lot of plants in a small space. My plants in 2 gal pots get too large to put nearly as many in a small space.,
Thanks I'll take that into consideration.

Drip stakes are hooked up. I might re-run it, the line ran neatly like last time. The line I am using is stiff. I could use the softer line, bit it can kink. I could also switch to more of a Halo type dripper. The drip stakes are elevated. You can get some small square drippers that are not elevated. I might try them in future. I didn't hook the Rez up. Just ran the lines. Will take a pic when I decide what to do.

Im still hand feeding my girls. Dont think i have room for drip system. But sounds handy. My cracks are a week out they look great. I'm very happy with this grow. About to start flush. Thinking of the next grow already.

Do you have enough room for a reservoir near your grow space? That's the only extra space needed.

Got me thinking about doing some Coco and perlite in these 2.25qt pots I have now lol Have you done anything similar? Asking because my coco experience is 0. Lol Any experience with Coco and perlite, coco and peat, coco, peat, and perlite?

What are you planning nute-wise if you don't mind me asking?
I am running AN Coco nutes with them. Will tweak as needed, but starting with 4ml A/B, 10ml Calmag per gal. But I use Cobs, otherwise my Calmag would be about 5ml per gal. I use RO water and 100% Coco, so plants need extra Calmag.

I only run 100% straight Coco. No need for perlite unless you have really large pots. Otherwise you will water even more often. These pots are about 1/2 gal. Without an Automated water system you will be watering 2-3 times per day by hand. It is crucial that you do NOT let the Coco dry out too much. The pots are very small, the Coco will dry out fast and kill your roots if you let them dry out too much. However, as long as you keep your reservoir full enough you can just play with flood times/flow and your Coco will never dry out ever. When using 1/2 gal pots you should be around for the first few days to ensure the proper flood times. Once dialed in they are almost maintenance free. Once in a while you may need to mess with the flow valves/flood times as they grow. I shoot for a slight bit of runoff daily. Not flooded and not dry.

What would you estimate the frequency of watering with [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] pots?
Frequency depends on your environment. Pump size, number of plants, pot size, etc all are major factors as well. Also you can water less frequent, but run the pump longer as well. I prefer 6 waterings per day for my 1/2 gal, to ensure no problem with drying out. My 2 Gal I water 4x per day. 3 gal could do 1-4 waterings per day depending on your environment and preference. I have grown hundreds of plants in straight Coco. They and I prefer more frequently watering, but not flooding.
