Indoor 600watt hps easy ryder & russian rocket fuel grow

hopefully anyway im shutting down again after this so itll have to do me for most of the year anyway.
yeh i think it helps stop alot getting lost, i still lost some soil through the bottom near the start, the whole plant just kind of sunk slowly. topped it up once and now it doesnt seem to be dropping atall. im still dunking the whole plant in a bucket to feed and then adding some at the top, only way i could think of getting it watered properly, it dries out so quickly i need to make sure its saturated.
ill be giving it its first proper flower feed tonight or tomorrow im possibly a bit late but wasnt sure if it was still gaining height. that easyryder gained another 2 cm last night, 2cm over what it says on the pack is the max height i wasnt sure if i had stunted them near the start due to slightly rough handling doesnt seem so now anyway.

Watering my airpots concerns me, I slowly pour water at the base of the trunk till runoff and I'm sure the sides of the pots are still dry, wether the soil in the edges of the pots soaks a little up after a while I'm not sure? On my next run I might try some stones on top, I think I'm also going to block a couple of extra rows of holes with silicone on one pot and see if there is any difference in ease of watering or growth
Good luck with the bloom ferts mate

The top 2 notches on the airpots are solid with no holes,i found covering 1 if the notches with soil and leaving the top notch exposed made watering a little easier.id pour in the water till it reached the top of the pot ( about an inch ) and let it soak through, and repeat until pot is soaked through.i found it throughly watered the pots but i did have to top up the soil once or twice as it does wash a bit away with the airpots.

I'll give that a go today cheers mate

I water my airpots in two steps. First I water slowly until I get a little runoff and then wait about an hour than go back and give them a little more until I get runoff again. This waiting period gives the soil some time to soak the water up more effiecently and it makes sure the entire pot is watered completely and to the outer edges.

Day 55/45

cool thanks for the insight.

had to lower them all again so took some pics in more natural light.
