New grower. I have 3 photoperiods that I have in a 2x4x6 tent. When I close the vents at night, the RH is high 90's the next morning. From what I have read it should be in the 40's.
I have a fan and just got one of those bead things that you recharge when needed. Doesn't seem to be doing much.
Ideas?
Thanks

I'll try to make this as short as possible and thank you for your patience.
Got a 2x4x5h tent and 1200 watt led for birthday. have 3 photoperiods going but then started some Mephisto autos. So when I needed to put the 3 photo's into flower at 12/12 I needed a second tent so I can keep the autos on 24/7. So I bought a 2x4x6h and two AutoCob led's and have the autos in there. These are in the concrete basement which has rh of about 58%
The others are on a 12/12 cycle off 6p to 6a. so I close up all the velcro vents & sleeves each night to prevent light leaks and open in the morning for the day. When I open up in the morning the rh is as high as 99%
Ventilation: I have connected the two tents with 4" duct. I have 200 cfm on the outside of the auto tent pulling into a charcoal filter. Fans in each tent.
We are in VT and it has been terribly humid for the last several weeks. My understanding is rh should be in the 40's during flowering.
Has anyone else had this problem and any ideas for a solution? How can I get the tent rh lower than the ambient rh of 58%?
Thank-you in advance for any help.

You need a bigger fan and filter to match. That size fan is good for 1 of those tents. I have a 2x4x5 myself I have a 160cfm that works well but 200 would be perfect. With all those plants they are making a ton of humidity and to much space. Fan cant clear it fast enough. Get a 2nd fan or 1 400cfm or higher. Also make sure you have a fan inside each tent. Once you fix you fan(s) I would leave it sealed no need to open those vents, it will help stabilize your environment in the tent. The more it's open the more your humidity will go up. 58% isnt bad most places with a/c average around 50%. Go to phresh filter site they have a calculator that will tell you how many cfms you need for tent dimensions.

@BestBuds also I picked up a small dehumidifier off Ebay it was $28. Its about 10" tall very small, but knocks off about 6-8% humidity when left on. Holds about 32oz of water but empty everyday never got that much in it. Has auto on/off full so wont over fill. Great for when drying in tent too. I have that and also picked up a portable humidifier, you fill a water bottle (16.9oz) and you can adjust the spray that comes out. Helps keep tent hold humidity level when drying in tent if you use it for that. Got it at bed bath and beyond for 20-30 bucks, but could get cheaper was in a pinch needed it now lol.
