Hi all , I thought I would start a journal of my path from beginner to stage 2 --a happy little vegemite -- :dance2: so where am I at , total beginner , I have a small grow room and a out door spot , at the moment I have some photos on the go - White widow and Big bud plus a local bush breed -- unknown -- , I have autos ordered just waiting on them , I have some plants in the room and some out side , the out side ones I had in the room till they where 4 weeks in flower and now outside , I have made a lot of mistakes and have learn't a lot along the way , most of my info is from this site , now things that went wrong , 1st soil and to low PH which has been a battle all along , I see now when you guys say it all starts at the soil , boy have I done some home work on that , 2nd under feeding due to not understanding what the leaf was telling me , again lots of work to understand what the leaf is telling me . which I believe was due to PH problems , LST I think I did ok , as as topping , I did play around with this first grow so I could see what the different techniques do , So here are some photos , with the outdoor site I am waiting on some bird wire to turn up , this is where I want to grow some Autos . 2013_08221out0024.jpg2013_08221out0001.JPG2013_08221out0016.jpg2013_08221out0014.jpg2013_08221out0033.jpg

Those plants are looking good.
Are they still going?

I wish I could grow outdoors again. Way too risky in my neck of the woods, so to speak. Love the lean-too in photo #1. Although we have better climate control inside, nothing better than a few cannabis plants in the sun. Gonna rep point you on your 1st post. Subbed too.

You're several weeks from harvest, but those plants are doing just fine!
keep us updated!

Awesome grow/chill spot hecno. What auto strains do you have on order?

Keep us posted, I love outdoor pics.

:peace:

I agree with Vapour. That's a nice spot to sit back, fire one up, and watch your plants do their thing! They're looking good, Hecno! As you alluded to, pH is gonna be pretty important, so if you don't have a soil tester or a tester for your solution, you might wanna look into that

Well getting the soil ready , seeds should be here any day now , what I am going to do is veg under Led light till they start to flower then outside they go, I have hash plant Auto and my son has cash crop Auto , now I tell ya nothing going in till I have the soil spot on . as you can see in the photo I have used bag soil [ organic ] - worm castings - perlite , I mixed to what I thought made a nice airy soil , to a 65 ltr bag I added 12 ltr of perlite 9 ltr of worm castings and 9 cups of lime , I have both a soil and water ph testers very good ones the soil one also tells me how much moisture is in the soil , at first reading I had a ph of 6 , but I am thinking the lime will bring it up a bit in time . Now here is some photos for you to have a look at . 2013_0827afn0019.JPG2013_0827afn0020.JPG2013_0827afn0014.jpg2013_0827afn0022.JPG2013_0827afn0021.JPG2013_0827afn0024.JPG2013_0827afn0012.JPG2013_0827afn0013.JPG
