Morning guys, after a good think and sleeping on it I think im going to go with some leds, now would you guys suggest the last one red put up from grow northern as d prefer to order from the uk, or red since u suggested the 240 black star do u think I should go with a stronger one from grow northern to the second one you suggested or would that be perfect?

Cheers again everyone, cannot wait to do a report on few I got going now as my biodiesel is outside now at 4 weeks old Mmmmmmmm lol

Have you decided what size tent your using mate,I'll recommend a light if you give you grow space size bud

Hay Richirich I use the Grownorthern HP 5w and the modular series,my grow space is 6'x2 hope this helps u make up your mind I'm doing a grow diary at the moment just to prove they work lol

Just checked and measured up my free space I have in mind so I'll be going with the dr 60 II as I've got lots of room spare in height so this will be the one im going with from greens horticulture

Well I'd recommend either this http://igrowleduk.co.uk/products-page/i-grow-led-x-range/i-grow-84x-135w/ which is perfect for that size tent mate,or the similar model from here http://grownorthern.com/index.php?p...category_id=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=75

You could fit this light in the tent also http://igrowleduk.co.uk/products-page/i-grow-led-x-range/i-grow-126x/ its more money and would give you more light,but it could be a little intense and you only have 5ft of head room.take into account yr pot size and hanging the light.

4sqft 50w psf is 200w in hps
180w led would be more than enough with the 3 w chips
or 200-250w in t5's

A blackstar 180w does not pull 180w tho mate,it pulls around 100w which is not enough. 180w represents 60 LEDs x 3w= 180,but only drawing around 100 true watts?i use that exact light in 2x2 and i could use more power
