What's up afn? I'm a new grower and member. I just signed up but I've been lurking around for info on this site for quite a while . So I'm 5or so weeks in to my 1st ever grow. Dwc 3.5g bubbler bucket grow. 600w HID in a 4x4x6.5 tent. I just recently switched from mh to hps bulb like 4or5 days ago. Everything was going great imo with the MH but since the switch I've gotten these spots on a few leaves . . . Any idea what they are from? Or how to fix?

If the lights still at the same height im pretty sure its not because of the light.
Is it possible the symptoms were there before but werent as visible under the bluer spectrum?
More likely a nutrient deficiency.
Can you post a picture under natural light? And tell us a little more about your feeding schedule brother

Okay so the 1st time I changed the water or used any nutes was 2wks ago. Up until then they had been getting nothing but Ph,d water and mh light at 50% so 300watts . . . Then 2 wks ago today I changed all the buckets and used the GH 3pt nutes at 1/2 the rec. Amounts plus cal mag then Ph'd them down to between 5.8 and 6.3(a bit to heavy handed n impatient to get them all the same) . . . They really took off. . .I've kept em turnt pretty much every other day. . . Water temps are between 76 n 79( 2 buckets were at 79) . . . Fast forward to 2days ago I get up and check on my ladies and she had those spots on her. . . Light is 25" away from tallest plant . . . Pics were taken Last night during lights out so they were sleeping. Hope it helps. . . Don't really have a particular feeding schedule as I've only fed them that one time. . Thanks for the replies

What are your ppm's? If I understand correctly and you haven't had a reservoir change in 2 weeks, I'd do a an entire reservoir change with a fresh amount of hydroguard and lower the ppm's a bit to see if it's a lockout or something.

Yea it's just those spots on 3 out of 5 plants. . Ppm 630 to 749 between the 3 plants. . . I'm flushing them tonight. . . I'm just curious as to what could have caused it. The 1 yellow spot feels dry/crispy. . . I don't have any hydrogaurd though. . . Roots been looking good imo. Tho I'm no expert.. . . Does it matter if I flush them during lights off???? Btw all 5 are autos. . . 2 white wido xxx 1 Cali snow 1 super OG Kush n 1 Diesel xl

Man I'm pissed about my plants. . . They've gotten worse. . . Like there just wilting away. . . My roots weren't brown but they were slimy. . . So root rot. . . Ok. Did they while flush then peroxide with darkness. . . Peroxide did brighten the color of the roots up. . . So went it after a fresh rez change with PhD water hydrogaurd and a bit of cal mag n today I have this. . . . . . . Sorry for the crappy pics. . . I'm thinking my tent is just too hot with the hps burning I've got one 10inch oscillating fan in there. But that's it. . . You think it's just best to cut my losses on those 3 ?. . . .maybe keep the other 2. . . ?. . . .though I'm not sure how they will fare in there with the hps. . . . . . I'm really depressed about this 1st attempt at going. . . Cannabis that is. . . My out door tomatoes have been looking gr8 the last 2 yrs. . . . Got me thinking bout autopots?. . . .i read it's way less common to get root rot issues with auto pots n multi flow hydro systems? Any truth to that??. . . . . . Or maybe just do away with the hid and Go LED ????
