I'm heading into my first grow ever and I have some fem seeds I'd like to reproduce, when should I start spraying with CS? I've read to wait until pistils show even with fem autos.

Also, say I have a short, stalky plant with tight nodes.. Any tips on isolating a single branch for spraying? Would one branch produce enough pollen for lets say, 200 seeds?

Yes, only start when it goes into flower, spray one branch and pollinate another later. CS isn't very mobile as opposed to silverthyosulphate so you can in fact convert only a single branch to male.

A single banana will give you enough pollen to fertilize an entire branch of female flowers and a branch of those will give you hundreds of seeds.

I do not recommend you smoke any plant you sprayed with silver. I don't know of any health risks but it is super rough on your throat. Try 'em for edibles.

If you wanted lankier plants you should have supplied more red light than blue.

To get the seeds out easily, simply dry the seeded branch completely and then rub it in a metal strainer. The dried greens will crumble and the seeds will stay in.

Seeds take long, be patient and wait until you see the pods bursting, then you can chop.
