Hello everyone,
I'm trying to get everything together that I need to start growing, but I'm having a little trouble figuring out what medium I should grow in, and what nutes to use.

This is the medium, and nutes I plan on getting. I'm definitely not too sure on how everything works though. I was just going to follow the directions on the back of the bottles and I've heard to use only half that amount.

Do you guys think this looks okay, will this work?lol
Any help would be greatly appreciated, my first indoor grow and I've never use the nutes or anything like that before so it's a little intimidating.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I'm growing in a PC box that is 16in long, 17in tall, and 8in wide. 3 CFLs. 2 intake pc fans and one blowing out.

Thanks for reading guys, hope some one can help me out:confused:

Here's a pic of the box. I plan on getting a bigger pot to grow in to.
Were growing crystal dwarf from freedom of seeds company, we bought through attitude.

I know the pc box looks a little silly but its the best I could do with what I hare to work with lol:lol:

Here's the nightstand box were also making.still vary much under construction. We planed on useing the same medium and nutes for the nightstand as well.
U guys think this looks ok? I really don't want to plant untill I get all the nutes and soil thing figured out. : )

Anyone have any suggestions or feedback?

Thanks J Tang,
So u think that all looks good to get started? Should I use the cal mag from the beginning or wait a few weeks, and do u think it really needs the root nutes? we were just trying to spend as lest as possible but if it something that will really help we will for sure get it.

Thanks in advance for any help. : )

I only use cal mag if I see a deficiency starting,u use root boosters myself as do lots on here so if u can get them yes. I would read some of the diarys on here were people use a similar set up for tips or start a diary when you ready and lots of people on here will gladly help u along the way.

I wouldnt stress about nutes too much as you have such a limited grow space. your not looking to have your girls get HUGE! you just want them to be healthy. I would find anywhere on the internet a journal based off of your strain. try to see what common problems people have. get a good thermomitot and higrometer and moniter your temp and humidity for a few days to ensure you don´t have any issues. Next you need a way to monitor your PH balance. It´s the most important part along with your micro climate. you can get a cheap PH water test kit to measure the PH of the water as it goes in and out of your medium. you must learn about PH. it is very very important...

this is a great read by one of AFN´s founders

Be careful of using nutrients on autos as it can burn them. As for medium I'm a great fan of john inns compost, works a treat every time.

Thanks guys for all the input! Yea, I guess I still got a lot of reading up to do and FD's guide should b perfect, thanks for posting that link : )
I plan on making sure were using ph balanced water to. Was gonna pick up this tester and some ph down.
