A Garden Of Goodies

As you see, dragon [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] is outside catching some rays while she ripens up. I've brought in the nite queen and g14 back under 24hr leds as the male dragons are getting ready to pop and I'm trying to prevent an early pollination. Queen looks slightly improved with the cooler environment, but still scrawny. Feels like a solo cup grow or something. She's flowering and the g14 is just starting.

Dragon [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] is doing fine, just water only for quite a while now, only a few amber, going to take a few more weeks at least, though I may harvest one branch earlier just to see what's what since it's a different pheno from 1 and 2.

Glad to see you cutting some of your plants and loving the Muay Thai. We've been getting rain up here in Portland and I'm getting bud rot on some plants. Guess I'll be cutting some plants early, oh well. Supposed to be some warmer and dryer weather coming up.

Yeah, I hear you, it's not been nearly as good weather as last year, at least for early season autos. There's almost always a 10 or 15% chance of rain overnight so I spend a lot of time checking the weather and moving the plants in and out of the shed, which isn't too bad, I just leave the door open so the morning light comes in, but I don't remember any such concerns last year until fall arrived all at once in October.

I know portland is usually wetter than we are, sorry to hear about the troubles with mold. There's a bacillus thuringiensis strain that attacks botrytis, have you looked for any of that? I forget what it's called.....actinovate I believe is the name, or there may be similar products . Hope you'll bring the majority of your crop in man

Here's a couple Muay Thai pics today

There's a couple leaves yellowing underneath; I don't believe is a deficiency, but just the plant sloughing off a couple shaded fans that aren't mission critical.

I keep looking for evidence of caterpillar and debating whether to spray the thuringiensis but I haven't seen anything other than gnats getting stuck in the resin.

Also, looking again for pollination--was checking the Blackberry bags today for dryness and sure enough, I found a fully ripened seed, so I guess I wasn't tripping after all. I had some help trimming so I didn't look personally at every bud. I'm jarring later today and will see what's there, I don't believe it is widespread at all, but if there's one, there's probably a few more.

The Blackberry is a big disappointment in this sense. Obviously, I also did not get the intended pheno, I thought I read that 90% would turn purple, and there's not a drop of color on her. The high is pretty one dimensional, relax and very low psychoactivity, basically no brain stimulation at all. It's probably 6 out of 10 on the potency scale. I'm not saying it's terrible, it will be smooth with the cure, but it's pretty plain jane, and nowhere near as good as the Ripley's OG or the Stone Dragon. Not going to rip on FastBuds here, but it's a disappointment for sure. I hope their g14 is good, heard good things about it, and I know people like their GSC...not really a big fan of GSC or the Glue either for that matter, from photoperiod examples I've sampled....good strains, just not what I'm looking for.

Here's my Stone Dragon males today

The one on the right has seemed to have better size/stature, and showed a bit of purpling on the leaf tips at the top, has the earthy licorice scent. One on the left has a more citrus grapefruit scent.

I finally pulled out a small piece from the bag last night, it was very sweet and had the licorice flavor. Very potent, made my mouth water every time I liked my teeth for half an hour after, even after smoking a cig as well. It's an awesome strain, really notice the alleviation of stress, muscle pain and body aches. Getting to bed, my whole body felt better than it has in a long time, just a superb feeling.

I know lots of people have spoken highly of this strain, @Eyes on Fire here runs it too. Man, what a nice med. I'm kind of surprised more people aren't growing it, this should be at the top of a lot of lists, y'all go get some and check it out! :yay1:

BRO LOL you got that right man, Im flat stupidly suprised that more arent introducing them into the grow for the high or the medicine aspect,in which it pretty much stands alone in its versatility. Neurological and the like type of meds, pain. white phenos and reds are great for circulation and stimulation properties and so on. very versatile strain. also some bred from that line are good too. AS99,moonstone and various other properties have been rooted out and sorta been isolated and are now being worked in other more fun and also very medically productive ways. Ive grown a few of em and love em. and then there is the JEM..soooo between them two your pretty well covered for pain and so on once multiple phenos are introduced to yiur garden.BOOM!! game is officially over,ya got your meds and now you can concentrate on whats just a stellar rec smoke LOL! and if ya stumble across some good meds, well then great!! you can also look at what our Magic is doing too.he's has made some really nice strides in breeding from some original stock of the dragons as well as other well known breeders too. so the line is in them too.
