A Garden Of Goodies

Hey, hecno, thanks for stopping by. I'll make some more lemonade for us, or perhaps some sweet tea.

Here's the latest:

Dragons are looking much better already -- the one in the middle was the last to respond. It looks to be mag deficient. I'll probably add some Epsom next watering, I've just been letting them be. I probably have to apologize to Stone for making a poor show of the Dragons -- I've not really done them too well thus far, I'm sure looking forward to the smoke though.

Blackberry on the left has branches at 18 and 19". Ripley's OG at 15 and 16". I did some stem twisting and pinching yesterday, not too hard, but the Ripley's is still recovering a little.

Muay Thai seedling is doing fine.

Have a good weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Ripley's OG looks out of balance. Is this Mag def? It's only noted on the newer growth and I haven't ruled out Iron.

Any input appreciated, I flushed her a bit with bone meal last night, and finished with the bone, a dash of molasses, Great White, and 5ml of GO Cal mag, but the Cal is from last season and was a little fizzy, was probably a bad decision to use it. It also does not have Fe in it. This produced the few burnt tips you're seeing.

Thinking maybe reflush and buy some new calmag to throw in.

Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks

what are you using to feed and whats the soil composition?

well from the little I see I would do essentially what you did.cal mag to the soil and if you want to spray anything to green them up a little kelp is always an excellent choice. epsom I'd use roughly a 1/4 tsp to roughly 10 onces of water or there abouts. kelp is roughly 1/2 tsp to about 8-10 ounces of water as well. if your close to flowering or early pistils Id avoid wetting your leaves unless its absolutely necessary imo.it'll slow and tamp your flower production especially if you do it a few times early in flower. cal mag to soil and kelp to the leaves is how id tackle that.

also for dragons use rice wash water too.great source of carbs too.

Thanks, Eyes, do you think the fizzy, old Cal mag is a problem in there?

I'm growing in a roughly 35% mix of kis soil, the label is on the first page of this thread. It differs from kind soil in that it has 10% calcium in it, and shouldn't really require additions of calmag, although since it is cut down for autos, it may now be short of either the mag or iron, I'm not really sure. The Blackberry auto is doing great in it though. The Dragons were just potted up the other day so I hope they'll continue expanding their roots and find what they need.

This is an experimental grow for me with organics. I'll see about the rice wash as you suggested, but I'm headed out of town for a few...

yeah,Ive not used that soil before. dont suppose you checked the PH or the total lime content? well, if its a photo strength soil and you cut it by 65% with another soil or coco mix.I would look to making a tea personally, and as long as your soil is buffering correctly imho thats the angle I would go.a simple tea or involved. just hit the aspects a little with each thing you believe to need a pop and a smaaalller helping ,or light boost of the things that do not. poof.that should be your answer bro!

your welocme man,no problem!

Cool, bro, I appreciate that, I'll do what I can today and I'll have to take stock of the situation when I get back to the garden Thursday. I'm crossing my fingers until then.
:baghead: :haha:
