CM - 6.65 = ok now...
RRF - 6.75 = ok now...
Supersonic - 6.79 = starting to show def:

I would surmise if you dont pull ph down on all to 6.5 the other 2 in the following order will show def:
RRF then CM

the beginning def is super is also evident in pic 1 far left lowest leaf in picture (tip) just slight start.

Potassium: Leaves have a papery appearance; dead areas along the edges of leaves; growth is stunted...

Right, JM. And thanks for speedy response. The CM really looks like it has N def. It grew fairly quickly and wondered about its lighter color.

The RRF looks real good and pot is still somewhat heavy. But it has not had time to search out all the moisture.

In that the soil is fairly porous--I think I will compensate based on last PH run-off with a mix of 1/2 distilled and 1/2 Spring in order to get some conductivity. It will not take much water.

The CM needs N fairly soon--I think. And Super needs more nutes. I was concerned when I watered/feed 6 days ago--absolutely no murky run-off. The soil may have been depleted somewhat when I tested PH before planting and added perlite.

The grow is 7-4-10 - and maybe I ought to go up to 1/2 tsp per gallon with such porous soil. Yes, K for sure with stem color etc.

I will not feed until PH settles in.

Well, I decided to correct the Supersonic PH, however, nothing will move it below 6.80. It actually increased by .01. I ran PH water down as far as 5.0 with no change. It ended up being a moderate flush, and I am certain the goodies have been flushed out.

Something is just odd about it. Before the grow, I prepped the soil and spent my time getting it rolling--all looked good. Could be the lime is trying to set soil towards PH 7.

For now, I am just going to let it go and see what it decides to do. More watering and it will perish for sure.

Tomorrow or Monday, I will see if I can get the CM to respond.

If it is the lime you can flush it out it just takes time and a few days not sure what else to suggest Alan but there looking good matey Si

alan, be careful fretting over plants...... they look good! a few minor blemishes, i dont recommend mircale grow products but one, this is sugar beet molasses, pure nitrogen, npk 8-0-0 totaly organic and no heavy metals, according to msds reports. i add a tablespoon full to every gallon of feed. regular molasses is almost... as good!:smokebuds: k.i.s.s.

buy sugar beet molasses frm ANY other organic supplier... yes I AM BIASED! I HATE MG!





keep flushing plain water till you get 6.5 in 6.5 out....

then feed with 6.5 solution for that time of plant's life.

Thanks to all above responders. Much appreciated.

Plant has some more of the rusty pattern on a few fan leaves. Sensitive woman. I have experienced far worse and I mean far worse. No sleep lost over this. Your right Astro got to keep it all in perspective--that first watering/feed is always a gamble. Still, the leaves are reaching for the light with that sweet 45 degree angle = good sign.

I look out at my backyard with all kinds of flowering plants (late season bloomers) some of which don't belong in this environment. They are in crappy soil and get the hard ass city water but they are blooming like mad and they have all kinds of leaf discoloration etc.

I'll tinker with the CM and start getting PH down on Super soon. Little ole RRF looks good.

I decided to just do a bit of PH soil related research. You know the internet searches can be misleading; so, one has to get confirming info. etc. The root zone aspect is what I have not really given much thought to. I have not checked any of my grow books.
