Indoor A tour through the Pyramid's

Feeding time so I thought I'd post a little update beforehand.

She's just about to have a light dose of BioGrow (1ml per litre of rainwater) and as she has shown zero vertical growth so far I trimmed back a couple of fan leaves to allow the light in and hopefully get these side branches to start moving. Next update I suppose we'll see if that worked or not.

That scarring hasn't come up on any of the new growth so I think whatever that was is over, undoubtabley a bug of some kind, the country's swamped in them atm.

Got a few other updates to post so I'll be back shortly.

Peace

Day 16

Ahoy, mate! :smoke: I've been remiss on working over your way,.. I did see a while ago on the sidebar that you were trying out some strains from Pyramid! Thank you for taking this lesser used exit on the Good Seed Highway, and providing us a view of something fresh! Cripes! -there are so many choices out there now, many of them fine indeed, but I have to admit there are surprisingly fewer seed co's tested here than I would have expected,... Clearly, word of mouth and good documentation of results can hold strong sway when people decide what to try next,... LOL!- when trying to make decisions on what to try on my first ever grow, I began to flirt with apoplexy! Pyramid had several enticing choices, and a couple were on my initial list... (that got stupid real fast- I had about 3 dozen solid choices before I took a step back and decided to stay the more common, well doc'ed course from what I saw here!)..... You've picked some juicy strains, and that Hash plant has the hook in already on me!
Rival', that chica is impressive for 16 days! Holy poop-tea :Stones slap: LOL! I takes my outdoor plants a month to get even close to that,...usually by that time, they've sexed, and the side branching get curtailed more than a little... 24H whip-cracking,... no substitute for it..! I wonder if riding them @24h can cause this very compact growth habit in some strains,... This one is gonna be a total shrub I think! **** The bug damage, that's the pale discoloration on the upper leaf surface I'm seeing? It smacks of thrips...:cuss: I got a special place in my ass-crack for those vermin! ...they are highly mobile, and sometimes dine and flee, leaving only the damage behind... good news that no further similar signs have been spotted! They are ninjas though, so scrutinize not just the plant but the whole general area/hiding places... I had a lingering low level infestation for most of my first grow, but this time there's little sign of them thankfully! I can't help but wonder if the damn FF Ocean Forest soil I was using was polluted with them,... most suspicious! *** At some point I/we should get back to the Dark Tower talk @ SaH's place,.... I'm trying to reread the last few books, maybe pick up the side stories as well, but time and sleepiness has foiled me frequently- LOL! :High 5: Good stuff Rivalfish! I'm weaving you into the crazy loop I try to keep up with here...

Sweet will be watching as my next grow will consist of 2 pyramid white widows and 2 pyramid purple. I had a white widow going that got to 15 days and had to pull (very bad day):cuss:. And man I wish I could have left it growing it was going to be a monster. Sending good :karma Cloud: your way.

I was looking at Pyramids seeds also for my first ever auto grow....they had some crazy names and nice color but me and the wife went this the Buddha pack ..looking forward to see what I missed.:smokebuds::Cushty:

Looking good man, I'll pull up a chair.

I recently placed a seed order because I am trying to collect a variety of seeds so that I can hunt down strains I particularly enjoy and create my own seeds. I was planning on getting a few of Pyramid Seeds Auto NYC and Auto Purple, but opted out because of the lack of information I have heard about Pyramid Seeds. I normally try not to support companies that overly promote themselves, as I am pretty anti-advertising. At the same time though, I was reluctant to take a short in the dark lol I like to believe a good product will sell itself. Excited to see your results!

My favorite strain is Pyramid Auto Purple! I've got five now and am planning a 4 seed grow this week. Hopefuly my grow room is done by then so I have the room.

Hey guys, welcome aboard, things are starting to pick up now. I was supposed to do an update yesterday but I'm glad I didn't, she looks much better today. I'll throw a few pictures up shortly.

Steve and Nam, I'm really looking forward to testing the Purple, if they have a 'popular' strain, that seems to be the one. I'll be picking a few up in a couple of weeks so stay tuned :)

Doob, I must admit if I'd had the choice of some Buddha seeds I probably would have gone for those as well, the mix pack's high up on my shopping list, hopefully Magnum first :)

Yo Waira, I'll most definately head over to the Tower thread in a mo, I finished listening to the 6th book today and I've started the last one, not long now and I'll be back in the field of roses :)
'Lesser used exit on the Good Seed Highway' :High 5: very nice lol, I like that. Glad you approve dude, I really enjoy being a guinea pig and hopefully I'll be able to give these girls a decent run to give folks an idea. Nice to have a company selling single seeds tbh, really helps when your low on funds in an actual shop, Sweet Seeds are the same are they not??
So long as the taste is there, I may keep a Super Hash going every grow if I can, would be nice to have a plant dedicated to hash production. Loving making hash out my trim each harvest but I want more, lots more :)

I'm starting to think a lot of these strains will turn out to be small bushes, what have I had so far.... Wembley, Lennon, Osiris, Galaxy, Tutankhamon, I'm sure one more and now a Super Hash, I only finished the Lennon but all the others at least made it to flowering before they met their death and all, including the Lennon did and would have finished about 1' - 2' tall. Don't take that as gospel, I'm yet to grow them a little more trained in autos than I was before but well, we'll see soon I suppose :)

And yeah, thrips suck balls. They are everywhere here lately, you can't walk outside without getting covered in them. Hasn't been as bad this past week but for about a month there it was hell. Opening the window in the grow room and having the tent doors open to cope with the heat was what ruined me. Thankfully they're all gone now, not too happy I used chemicals to get rid of them but needs must, got my flowering Sour Diesel (in the fert testing area) and couldn't risk it getting (more) infested.

Anyways folks, I'm gonna go grab some chow and then I'll upload a few new pictures and see what y'all think.

Waira, I'll meet you in room at the top of the tower :)

:smokebuds:

And there we go, all looks fine now the damn thrips have buggered off. Starting to gain some height as well and she's 24hrs away from fully showing sex so it's all systems go now. Can't wait to see what she does.

She had a heavy dose of plain rainwater yesterday and on the next feed she'll get a boost of 1.5ml BioGrow and possibly some epsom salts to give her a little lick of magnesium.

And that's about it folks, I'll catch up with you soon :)

Well if you want hash then try the Buddha syrup thats super rez and super snow..Im looking at a high brix fromula that boost the snow level !LOL when I got this pack I knew nothing of auto seeds ..Me and my wife went to herbies and just looked at mix packs and they got the nod lolHop digityI am very happy with the choice..and its a good representative for a first auto grow..Unless you want smaller ones then stay away from them lol:stylez rasta smoke:Yours look fine though..they havent gotten to super stretch mode yet ..bet that bush turns to a nice tree:smokebuds:

No fears of big plants dude :) Got some of DP's new strains waiting to go in and Magnum will be coming along soon. The Sour Diesel I've got going isn't small either.
Mini bushes are nice to have though, especially when I'm just gonna turn it all to hash.

I'll check out Syrup, haven't looked at the right up yet....

:smokebuds:

:coffee break: Day 20 and moving like a cruise missile! :coffee break: Her side branch development is impressive,...wider than she is tall -LOL! It's going to be fun to watch her fill out :brow:
:karma Cloud: for no further troubles, mate! Sorry to hear about the other Pyramid sisters' untimely demise,... LOL!- what were we saying about all the strains we want to try? Doob' was killin' me with the success of his Buddah strains, a well respected and documented seed co...Syrup is a favorite around here! In my last (and first time auto-) grow, it was Kannabia's B. Lee auto that proved it's worth; where all the others stunted or completely frag'ed to varying degrees, this strain handled my mistakes (nute burn) and grew out more or less to spec; the results are damn good too, across the board! So, this one's worth a go someday too! *** I'm glad to hear the thrips have pissed-off, just like they should!:cuss: Reinfestation is so easy with this particular pest, so keep a fish-eye out for them, as I know you will.... How do you make your hash, Riv'? I tried the dry-ice method last time, which produced great, tasty results, but is terribly inefficient... you can't be too aggressive with the sifting-shaking, or you get increasing amounts of 'greens' in it, which FUBAR's the final processing because it won't stick together well... a first-timers lesson learned! I though about the water-ice method, but I wanted to preserve the terpenes' flavors in the final product,...but I'm willing to try the other method just to see....*** Ah! I'll have to go see that SD your experimenting with! :D:
