Ahh Mr A4 - I was eyeing up this thread yesterday and got interupted while posting!

Fire99 I had a HUGE hankering for a year or so back! Like a fisherman might, i consider this one to be "the one that got away"
I'm subbed up and looking forward to seeing you rocking it!

TLO style no doublt!

I'm excited for these! I keep hearing about how potent they are and quite frankly I'm intimidated.

Intimidated hell, I'm flat out scared Mr P :crap: and I just watched 2 beans shed their shell! I haven't smoked in 5+ years, except for a couple hits of something decent this past New Year, but I figure it is what it is and if it takes me out I'll die happy and stoned :RU Stoned..?:

Well, it is about time to stoke the fire. I received my soil test results back this morning and I am awful stoked with the results. Mag was a touch too high and Ca a touch too low but those are so close I am not considered on this batch. I will make some very minor adjustments on the next batch by upping the gypsum and cutting back on the lime just a bit more. [Begin Rant] I am going to rant a minute on lime also. Lime is entirely overused in organic gardening in my opinion. I see recommendations all the time to "just add some more lime to it" and in many cases it is entirely uncalled for. Most organic soils are not lacking in lime and adding dolomite adds a tremendous amount of mag to your soil while not adding much calcium. Calcium is a much more important nutrient and needs to be in the correct ratio of 7:1 Ca to Mag in order for your plants to thrive. [Rant over]

I went ahead and mixed 1/2 of this mixture to 1/2 promix a few weeks ago because I needed to transplant some seedlings and wanted to test this out. I will say, I have been very very happy with the plant growth so far. Every one of the transplants responded terrifically with the exception of two haze which experienced a little nute burn. That was expected as haze is very nutrient sensitive. Otherwise, the remainder of the plants have been growing in leaps and bounds with just water and a foliar feeding once a week. I have some Fire 99 plants that were sown just a couple of weeks ago and those will be grown out in this thread for testing the soil in the upcoming month.

One last thing, this soil mixture isn't the mix I originally posted at the beginning of this thread, I am on revision 3 of it at this point. So without further delay, attached is my latest test.
