Hello Waira, thanks for stopping by. The soil is working wonderfully, yes, the testing really helps out with that though. I think the biggest downfall of most organic growers is just throwing stuff together and hoping it works or relying on other's methods that have never been tested. Sending the samples off to a lab for analytical testing has really helped me understand what needs to be there and in what amounts.

SNS, those are a strain a buddy of ours sent me. Originally they were Purple Jems x Purple Auto to which I took the best male I could find out of about 30 and dusted one of my C99 mothers. This run is actually F2 so I am hoping to get most all, if not all autos out of.

The NQ isn't that bad but it is far from the greatest tasting bud. You can tell that it was bred during a time when flavor wasn't as much of a concern as strength. The potency is there, the quality is there, almost all fan leaves will have trichs stretching down them but the flavor isn't the greatest. That said, the flavor I can overlook when I can take two hits and be dead asleep in 10 minutes.

Dr. Grinspoon, oh the elusive one that everyone wants to see but no one wants to grow. lol I have had my eye on that strain for some time now and finally bit the bullet. Who knows what will happen with those girls because this is my first go with them. I was quite surprised last night that they are already throwing off pistils as they are supposed to be ~90 day flowers. I suppose sit back and enjoy the next three months of growth and we will see what happens together. If they are as potent as they claim then I believe they will be in my rotation quit regularly. May even try to auto some to see what happens.

Where to start, it's been a long week. Plants are growing wonderfully, had a few problems with caterpillars in the garden chewing up some leaves. Other than that I really haven't had much problems out of any of the plants at all. I should be sending my soil sample in this week to see where the numbers are at on this latest batch. With a little luck, maybe it will fall in the range I am looking for.

The Grinspoons are out of control, stretching beyond belief. I started tying them down last night but I can see it is going to be a mess. The Kushage is the same way, stretching a pretty good bit and I am running out of room under my light. Probably going to have to put another in the room by the end of the week in order to spread everything out. I didn't want to do that with the hot Summer we have had lately. It is already difficult enough to keep it cool with 1000W in there, 2000W is going to really throw out some heat.

Autos in TLO

Here is a few shots of some of the autos along with several mother plants, clones and some new genetics starting. The Durrty Dragons are circled on the right and the SNS is on the left. There is some Satori in there, some of SaH's (vanilluna x kali mist) x (flo x kali mist), some Fire99 from High Rise, C+, too many to list actually. The main thing is, the autos are doing perfectly fine in the new soil! We will see how they grow out.

Love the grow room too. Its always really satisfying to hear of customers that find one of our varieties is a keeper, so thanks. We can live with the fact that the taste isn't the best We do get quite a few medical users comment on the narcotic stone that comes from Night Queen, the only down side to this variety is that she paralyses you if you over do it. On the other hand, thats exactly what some growers want, so I guess its all good.

Sorry for the very late replies my friends, life has been very hectic here lately for me. On top of everything else I was gone for a week and lost almost every plant in my veg room to a horrendous caterpillar attack. I came home to find literally hundreds of them eating my plants and have been picking them off by had and dusting the plants with BT for the entire weekend. Almost everything was completely destroyed and I am hoping a few will pop back to life but at this point I am not holding out much faith. I suppose the positive side of things is my flower room is sealed and didn't see any infestation so I will have bud to smoke but everything that was going to be going into the flowering room is pretty much done for including all of my mother plants. I am pretty much heartbroken right now as that is over two years of collections down the drain. Life goes on and I will start over again, it is one of those unfortunate things when dealing with nature. Enough whining, on to the picture show.

The Night Queen is ready to harvest right now at 45 days, she is a 60 day plant but I suppose by keeping the mother in constant veg her clones are maturing earlier every time. Almost all the trichs have gone cloudy and I am tempted to harvest her any day now and basically have been waiting to see if I can get any more size out of the colas without going amber. She is still putting on weight right now so we will see what the week brings.

The Grinspoons are completely out of control, I have been tying them down but there is no containing them. Looks like they will yield a very good harvest and considering everything I have read I am quite surprised. These look more like a SSH to me than anything else but we will see what happens.

Buds are looking great, A4! What a bummer to hear about your veg room. How did the caterpillars get in? I've had some outdoor plants pull through some serious attacks, so hopefully you'll at least be also to save your mothers. I can only imagine the sinking feeling when you walked in there. :Bad Luck:
