Yeah, man. I feel ya. It gets to the point where you don't even realize how good your flowers are because you get so used to the quality. Then someone smokes some and reminds you how good you have it, lol.

I found a jar of strawberry cough a month or two ago in the garage. Had been curing for at least two years now and it was absolutely amazing. I had been dry for a while and it was like finding a pot of gold.

Well after dropping those pitiful looking ladies into my new mix they have perked up and have given me good reason to celebrate. These are the Fire 99 after 7 days in the new soil. I am hoping to put them into 12/12 in the next day or so and will be documenting the new soil from beginning to end as best I can. I will take pictures every week but the next three weeks are going to be difficult making time for everything so this thread may not get updated as often but when I do get to update it I will have dates and pictures. Life is hectic at the moment and hopefully will be calming down next month. Thanks for bearing with me. If I haven't visited your thread in a while, I apologize also. It isn't intentional, I just haven't had as much free time as I would like to have here lately.

Thanks to both of you.

I am so excited about this new mixture and just straight rain water. My biggest complaint about the other mixes has been lack of N showing mid flower. The other plants I have tested haven't shown any signs of running out yet but they are in one gallon containers. These 5 gallon containers with much larger plants will be a good test. If it works well then I will post the exact recipe for anyone to recreate.

Beautiful and a very stable looking strain brother :tiphat: Lookin real happy in the new soil as well  Take care of life my friend :pighug: We shall be burning offerings for a safe journey and speedy return :Sharing One:

:hug:Howdy A4!...hope all's well with you and the family,...:tiphat:...I can't believe I've fallen off the radar like I have... :slaps: but then again, the last few months since Dad passed away has gone by in a way that can only be described as surreal,...:Woozy..?:LOL!!
....back tracking some here,...
>> your lime rant was a proper smack to my head about it's true practical uses (even powdered!),...that, and that chart EoF out up at the LHT a while back about the various sources of Ca and Mg, their breakdowns in content and molecular formulations, etc.,... I was wondering if you've had much experience using hydrated lime? I've only used it for immediate corrective purposes, as a mix-in product,... I'd like to know more about it's use for peep's needing right-now pH corrections in pots, when chem's and salts aren't desirable,...
>> TLO-- someday, at the first chance,... many more folks here are going this route, and the results are talking loud and clear! I'm not even that concerned about yield, so much as the quality- aromatics, smoothness, etc., storage life,... I'll be dropping the straw into your brain, along with any others who sit still long enough, to help flatten my learning curve some! ...**...I'm blown away that 2 year old bud was still that good! Though, I'm guessing that wasn't a TLO grow? I see some folks using those Oxygen absorbing packs in their jars,...

>> :d5: those 1gal 50/50's are looking fantastic A4! ...simply blows me away, at half ratio, in small volume pots,...... ...BTW, who are these 1gal gals-- C+'s? Oh- I see an NQ tag too! ...***... Ohhhohooo,... loooky dem Jr.s in the 5'ers! Wow, do they love life now or what?! Gorgeous plants my friend,... F99's to boot!!...you-are-killin' me- :crying:..I've had wood for them for a year straight, and no ER visits have knocked my pole down yet!! -- it's reputation as a man-killer is well documented,... My lucky ass got a couple samples a while back, and the flavor and potency was a lethal combo,.. you want to just 'mac down on that joint, but you risk white-out hammering if you get careless! :roflcry:..seriously, it was one of the very few strains I have ever waved a few peep's off of, because I knew what would happen if they took even one hit,... :poof: :fire: :Woozy..?: LMFAO!! Needless to say, I'm already drooling,....... excellence, as always A4,... :Gold:
