Couldn't have been that. Almost every canna plant in the world is a hybrid of some sort. Grinspoon, according to Barney's, is as close to a true heirloom as can be found. They claim 100% sativa. I was just wondering the reasoning behind that statement. We read a lot on different forums, a lot of which can't be trusted. Not saying you specifically, no disrespect meant, but when someone reads that and they pass it along without knowing the reason why it begins creating a lot of the wives tales that get passed around on the forum(s).

A4 you sound like you have a good grasp on this!
maybe you could defy the odds and come up with the first auto grinspoon!
That would be something that I and sounds like everyone ells would love to grow

No disrespect A4.
Just passin on some info.

Yeah man, none taken at all I was just curious where you may have heard it. The more info the better, always.

Capt. Howdy is correct and a good friend lol. There is no way we could ever get a true Grinspoon auto but that is the case with everything. Even Blueberry, White Widow, any auto that we speak of. They are not true Blue Berry or White Widow because they have to have some ruderalis genetics in them to get them to auto. So every auto we have is not going to be exact but the breeder tries to get it close to the original and still keep the auto genetics in there. That being said, we can definitely get a good sativa dominant auto that will carry some of the characteristics of the grinspoon. I am going to give it a try and see what happens. Not many people will grow the photo version so it may be a chance to get something more manageable into peoples hands that are close in genetics and high.

I'm first in line for the auto Grinspoons once you got them on lock, A4

Grinspoons, grinspoons, grinspoons, that is all I am thinking about lately. They smell oh so wonderful and are looking like a pretty decent producer more and more every day. Right now I am on day 65 so maybe another 30 days give or take a few and I am very excited coming in to the home stretch. The Saturday Night Special is beginning to take on some more color and smells like grape crush, I just started 10 more of those last week as well and they are above ground for two days now. Will probably start another thread for them more than likely in the next few days. The critical+ is beginning to get her stretch on and the two new grinspoons are looking good. Not much more to say, on to the picture show. Thanks for stopping by!
