One tablespoon per gallon pot size. I stopped using Dolomite lime as I am in coco and Autocobs. Just using the liquid calmag. I have Epsom salts but rarely use.

But can't I just skip the lime and use calmag in my nute feed instead? Isn't that even a better way to go?

That is fine. You can supercharge before you drop germed seed. In general, don't be surprised if you need to feed double calmag as the grow moves along. I use Botanicare calmag and that can also be made to spray. I've only used the spray a couple of times and don't remember if it made a difference.

Ive been having to add calmag to my tlo grow also. I came to same conclusion dolomite lime. The bottled calmag works fine for me but ild rather address the problem before it arises. Going to give it a try I mix my soil in a large tote. Im going to start gradually with it maybe 2 or 3 tbls and work from there

How much medium are you going to add 2/3 tbs too? I am about to load up 5 pots that are 2 gallons each and wasn't sure how much lime to add.

Im no expert by any means Ive just learned to error on the lighter side of things. So please dont do anything different than what you believe is right for you

Adding lime to inert media (coco/perlite; can't buffer pH as soil does) does not make sense to me, with side effects including shifting your pH up; and it's dangerous, not fixable if you add too much. Have you done any testing to see what your soil or run-off pH would be with the planned amount of added lime?

Why not just add low-to-mid dose cal-mag to your feed, and supplement this with foliar feeding for as long as you can (ideally, using Transport/Optic Foliar)? This works for me.

Thanks man. I'll use OF and calmag instead or lime. Probably saved me a bunch of calmag PH issues, which I am trying to avoid.
