Live Stoner Chat Advice for first grow

Hey guys. Starting my first grow. Got my equipment.
2x4x5 grow tent
2x4 8 lamp ho florescent grow light
Exhaust system-
Carbon filter
4" vortex exhaust fan
4" intake can fan
Seeds-
5x barneys seeds nyc diesel auto fem
5x heavyweight massive midget auto fem
3x free northern lights auto fem
Nutes-
Advanced nutrients grow, micro, bloom
Planning on 3 gallon pots.
Knowing what I have already. My budget is tight. What soil or soiless mixture would you guys recommend? Also is 8 plants in this space a good idea?

Great to have you with us, AFN is a wonderful forum full of autoflowers and we have some awesome members here with us too.

You couldn't find a nicer bunch of growers who are friendly and helpful and will give you a hand when you need it, this place rocks and the vibe is second to none.

Best thing to do is start a grow journal in the New Growers section , where our more experienced growers can drop in and lend a hand as and when you need it.

Your journal will be the base of operations for your grow and where you can ask questions about various aspects of your grow.

To AFN BRO. I would say that is to many for that tent, I'm thinking 2 plants for that size tent as they will want to spread out. PEACE BRO

Welcome Groove. I have the same size tent and for my first grow I had 5 plant in 3 gal. Pots. It was too many. Right now I have 3 and they're in 3 gal pots and it feels good. They have plenty of room.

8 lamps total or 16? You could do 4 in there ..I did 4 in a 4x4 it was stuffed and in 5gal pots.
