Grow Mediums Aerogarden ultra led Think Different GH nutes

Nben Thanks for the tip. I feel my temps were high briefly. I have now got things under control. What I realised is that even if the temps go up for a couple of hours it can create a problem.

Btw, I have attached a photo of the plant. It looks definitely sick. The roots look Ok! Hope she recovers by tomorrow.
Ph 5.4

Hopefully she will bounce back for ya!!!

Edit: You might want to bump that PH up. Like I said before I get mine to 6.5 and let drop to 5.5... Just my two cents ;)

I hope so too Nben! She is looking rather lack lustre right now. All droopy and limp. Not totally limp though. The roots look a-ok. Yesterday when the roots were bad she was looking surprisingly springy on top. So finally the sickness is now showing on top.

I will follow your ph tips.
You never let it drop below 5.5?

Not if I can help it. Sometimes obviously I am away and can't help it but it is immediately checked when I get home and when I get up in the morning. The problem is that certain nutes can't be taken up by the plant when the PH range is outside the window. This creates a lock out of nutes and it is like they just aren't there for the plant.

Ok, my plant is in a very bad shape. I have checked the roots and it seems fine. The first set of leaved are yellowing. The whole plant is droopy.
I have thrown out the water with Nutes. I have the plant only on plain water and added h2o2. I hope something happens like a miracle or something. Anyway I am prepared to start afresh.

be vewry careful with the H2O2 its powerful stuff! Change the res again tomorrow. Watch the temp of the res water, if its running above 70F, change it every 2-3 days or put bottles of frozen water in the res. You plants doesn't look too bad, you should be fine.

Hey Meta, sorry to see things didn't improve. Had a busy week, 12 hours Saturday and 10 hours Sunday. Wasn't ignoring you ;)

I hope it is improving. If not you may just want to scrap the plant and start over. We have all had to make the difficult decision before for sure :/

I know this may be annoying to keep reading but remember to keep PH in the 5.5 to 6.5 range, with those numbers being the extremes. If you did this now though and it didn't pull out then something else must have been wrong. I have almost killed a plant before on a bad PH pen calibration. It came back hardier than ever once I got the pen back on track.

I have recently just been keeping my pen in a solo cup with about an inch of RO water in it instead of recapping and storing dry. It seems to really keep the pen right on track by keeping it moist...

Best of luck!!!!

I have to agree, the plant doesn't look bad at all on the top...

Hi everyone I also have a TD in an aerogarden and I was worried about it being too small, however it's nothing to do with the height of the lamp. as I have removed the aerogarden one and added a 600w hps in a og parabolic reflector which can be raised whatever height I want. I am worried the resivoir which is about 4 litres is too small for the roots. It's day 10 and the tap root is already touching the bottom.then started growing sideways.will this stunt the growth?

That is a very good question! Ask over on the Live Help Thread where you can get a fast and accurate answer:thumbs:
