New Grower AFN Communal Competition thread

yup... moved stuff a few times... it is scary...

if you have a friend you can trust (someone who knows about your grow already preferably)

have them follow you for the trip... if some heat come up on your tail they can swerve and / or act like they are driving drunk... they get pulled over theoretically and you keep driving... better if you have 2 friends like this... double tail...

or one point (front) and one tail .... point takes tail if tail has to evade...

definetly package the plants in boxes, bins, cabinets... something so they are not visible... and check your headlightts / taillights /blinkers etc... make sure your vehicle will not stand out

be stone cold sober for this!!!!!!!

wear lots of cologne on you... to cover smells and have a little handy on the seat in case of getting stopped or pulled over... spray a squirt as soon as you stop if it happens...

hope this hellps and good luck mate!

oh yeah, if possible make the boxes or whatever you are putting them in airtight... this may be hard to do...

a freezer or fridge is a great disguise btw!

Bringing another tag along vehicle is a very smart move I didn't consider! Thanks a ton JM. Yea I will definitely be sober on this ride, I am going to try to line up everything for tomorrow night. Wish me luck!

Congrats on your seed Smokey!

Man I'm sorry to hear about your mold issues smokey,.
Cheers mate

...Which brings me to my next question. Has anyone had any experienced with
moving plants from one residence to another? The area I am going too is
decently populated. I am thinking of waiting for lights out (around 2am) and
putting them all in individual cardboard boxes. The ride is only about 20
minutes from their current grow location to the next, but the whole ordeal just
has me a bit nervous and I want to make sure their isn't a smarter way to go
about it.
I had to relocate 6 plants earlier in the year to friends for a few days...i covered them with black bags (didn't have boxes big enough) and stuck them in the boot of my car.
I waited till dusk to move them so as not to draw too much attention on the roads (didn't want to be the only thing about if a police car came along) but still having the benefit of the fading light.
My trips were about 30 mins each way and were VERY nervy...
I suggest making a suitable playlist on ipod or whatever of 'driving tunes' to help the journey...worked for me:D
nothing too manic...you don't want to get the urge to floor it when Mettalica comes on:no:

Smokey:
I just dug out a book to educate myself a lil more on but rot. You may know this already, but I figured Id pass on a couple tidbits anyhow. You said you were able to save a small amount. According to the book "How-To Marijuana: A step-by-step guide to Medical Marijuana" you should be very careful at the least, or, even better, discard all of the bud, even healthy parts, because they are likely covered in millions of microscopic spores that can cause a very serious form of pneumonia if ingested into the lungs. Also, make sure to sterilize the instrument you used to cut the plant so you dont re-infect other plants in the future.
Im not trying to sound condesending, I feel funny offering advice being a noob, and being so inexperienced, but I figured I'd post anyway where it is a health issue. I hope I didnt offend your intelligence by posting, but, where I didnt know this maybe other members don't as well...
Thanks for the OP, OP. I love learning new stuff- just sux I learned it at yer expense.

Smokey: A few years ago there was a story on the news about a couple kids who were following a pick-up truck full of pot plants. While at a stop sign, they jumped out and grabbed handfuls of plants, booked it back to their car and sped off. Unfortunately for them, they were caught a few miles down the road when the DEA agents in the truck they stole the plants from called em in!

I gotta admit I was tempted once when I was a kid when I saw an unoccupied cop car with its open trunk and back seat stuffed solid with plants.
