Hi,

Was just wondering what the chances of having a AFN Secret Santa were? I've seen the option on a couple for different forums (reddit for example), and generally think it is a good idea. It might even be a little add-on template for the forum, so not much design would have to go into it.


Anyone interested in participating could sign up, and then we could draw. Of course we may have to split it out into country, if users do not want to pay more in postage. We could work out the blips, if given the go ahead.

It sounds like a good idea, but the feasibility for it to happen are very low in my opinion. Just for security purposes (names, addresses, legality locations) that's get's to be the grey area. I know we have in the plans some things for Festivus (December/January) so I'd keep a look out for that and enter in the games.

Yeah, it’s a very nice idea and maybe those living in legal states would be willing but folks like me, living under prohibition are not going to (or shouldnt) give up their personal information to strangers on the internet. It’s simply too big a security risk. No matter how great someone seems online, you put yourself at risk if you reveal your name and address. Now, if there was some way to anonymize it....sure, I’d be down. But I dont see how that’s possible. Very cool idea, though.

Hey guys we appreciate the ideas and concept here but we'll have to respectfully say no to this one; it's just too much of a liability for everyone involved when it comes to personal information and identification.
