Jraven, how goes it mate? That is a lovely orchid! It looks like an Odontoglossum hybrid of some kind, but might be a species,.. if it was store bought, it's a hybrid, as species types are usually only available from shows or mail order,... Odont's are from the Andes in South America, cool growers, moderate light generally,... a very showy group, and used a lot in breeding! Man, this make me miss the days at the species specialty nursery I used to work at,..

What a job for a hobbyist!

... So, it looks close to needing transplanting,.. orchids don't mind, even prefer, tighter quarters, so when you transplant, go into a pot just a bit bigger, enough to allow a couple new growths' worth of space at most, never have them "swimming" in a pot, root rot will take then down; use an open mix of med. or fine bark and perlite; use a food made for then specifically, something with a fairly even balance of NPK, preferably urea-free (no 'crobes to break it down like soil)... feed mildly, 3-4x/month; Odont's will bloom from every new growth, but not older ones; best time to transplant is when new growth is underway, (not to late into it though ideally), this is when new roots will be forming best! Low ppm water will make them much more happy, hard water is disliked generally,... Oh, older back bulbs barely hanging on can be removed, sometimes eliminating the need to go to a bigger pot,... when you do this, let me know and I can help guide you on more specifics-

.... have some wetting agent and root tonic on hand, to presoak the bark and treat the plant for stress,.. they are tough as hell really, but some love will see then hit the ground running!
