Not sure about wrong my carbon filter is inside my tent and the hot air goes through that and out the ducting.
Wrong depends on do you have ducting going from tent to filter then more ducting to fan the ducting again as that would work

Nope didn't get fan ,I was told to put on a in a small can and sit inside, carbon scrubber,with fan blowing in there
